Our two-night stay at this cottage was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the sheer beauty of the setting, tucked away on a private stretch of river, surrounded by nature at its finest. A stunning cottage retreat! We swam in the river, canoed to the falls, went for walks, had evening outdoor fires and even enjoyed some fishing. The grounds are private and spectacular. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you would need, and I loved all the beautiful dishware; just made cooking effortless. The beds were very comfortable, and every space radiated both style and warmth. The cottage is spotless and is both luxurious and cozy. My husband and I had a wonderful time and we can’t wait to come back! Thanks Greg, for being a perfect host and for sharing your home with us!

We booked a four night stay in Sept 2025, hoping for a few days of rest and relaxation. Our stay was simply wonderful. Host Greg was welcoming and very responsive. The house was the perfect size for us and our dogs, with many comfortable places to sit and read, or just watch the chipmunks and birds. Our hosts had thought of everything that might be needed in each room, leaving nothing wanting. The kitchen especially bears mentioning - drawers and cupboards held everything needed to make a quick bite all the way through to a full on homemade dinner. The home is modern and very comfortable. The property is spectacular, with so many private places to sit and enjoy nature. I spent a leisurely afternoon kayaking up and down the river, and another morning sitting quietly on the dock with the dogs. We went for many walks and met no one! Thank you, Greg and family, for letting us stay in such a special place!!!

We had an amazing stay! Greg was an excellent host and a fantastic communicator — he made everything so easy for check in. The house itself was beautiful, spotless, and perfectly set up for a relaxing getaway. Greg went above and beyond by providing all the water toys we could possibly need — kayaks, paddleboards, and more — which made our time on the water so much fun. The location was peaceful and scenic, yet close enough to everything we needed. Overall, this was the perfect spot for both adventure and relaxation. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable vacation.

This was a wonderful stay for me and my family. Greg was a fantastic host who was very kind, accessible, and helpful. No detail was overlooked. We all felt totally at home. The cottage is gorgeous and the couches and beds are super comfortable. The setting is private and peaceful. The view out the floor to ceiling windows was awesome and even on the one rainy day, we loved being there every minute. There were few boats going by and mostly just a some people in canoes. The canoeing, kayaking and paddle boarding were so fun. The river is wonderful for swimming off the dock. We didn’t use the outdoor sauna but it’s gorgeous and we plan to do that next time. The fire pit by the water was awesome at night. Our dog, a little Havanese, lived her best life for 7 days and it was so fun to have her there with us. The drive to Bracebridge is truly 15 minutes and it’s a gorgeous drive through the country. We loved every minute of our stay and can’t wait to go back! A big thank-you for a perfect stay!
