We had a delightful long weekend at Badger's Retreat. We had rain and sun in equal measure but were able to enjoy the peace and quiet of the garden and surrounding area. The road going past it has about one car a day. The Weavers Way is 5 minutes walk away and the beautiful beaches a short drive away. We walked to the Swan in Stalham which was very good and also went to Smallsticks and Poppylands cafes which were excellent. When it rained it was cosy to sit and read in the conservatory. The cottage is very comfortable and well equipped. The fully enclosed garden was enjoyed by my spaniel too. We loved it and cant wait to return. Ginny and Willow

The, comparatively new owners, Kerry and Kevin, were very welcoming and helpful when we arrived. The welcoming pack was much appreciated. Not just for humans but treats for the dog. This is the place if you want peace and quite. The beautiful garden was the place to sit, especially in the afternoon and evening, watching across the fields to see buzzards, swallows and occasional deer. We have never seen so many butterflies and small 'bumble bees'. I think they were called Miner Bees. It felt that we were miles from anywhere but in fact we were a short drive to shops, beaches etc. Our 12 yr old retired Guide Dog was very much at home and enjoyed the local walks.
