About this house rental

This wonderful Oregon Coast home with its windowed tower sits amidst beautiful, mature landscaping along a pretty path down to the sea in desirable Bella Beach. From the ground-level garage full of beach toys and boogie boards to the captivating “Eyeful Tower” in the sky, Luna Bella brings loads of extra style and fun to your stay on the coast.

Wrap-around porches with breathtaking views down to the surf also give you a bird’s-eye view of the attractive homes that surround you in this beautiful neighborhood, whether you are grilling steaks on the gas barbecue or soaking away tension in the hot tub. Two serene king bedrooms with adjoining baths are located on their own floor. Upstairs, the living room has a queen sofa sleeper, 55” flat screen TV/PlayStation 3, gas fireplace, and a sectional with a chaise for cozy gatherings. A short full bed, perfect for the kids, is tucked into one corner.

A fully equipped kitchen with a gas range curls around a dining table for eight, with fir plank floors and sweet beach décor. The kids will scramble up the spiral staircase to the crow’s nest for the 360-degree views and the PlayStation 2, but you might steal up there yourself for some quiet reading time. You’re a three-minute walk to the Bella Beach beach access and miles of walking along the shoreline; the kids can play In the neighborhood playground while you saunter up to Café C’est la Vie for coffee and pastry. Both Lincoln City and Newport are a quick drive away, with the delights of Gleneden Beach, Salishan, and Depoe Bay in between. We truly want you to enjoy your time and make some wonderful memories with your group. That being said, this is not a party or gathering house for groups that can't control their noise levels. We have relationships with all of our neighbors who have our direct contact information. Quiet time is 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. Please keep the windows and doors closed and keep the volume to an enjoyable but reasonable level. If it is loud enough to be heard outside in these conditions, it is too loud for you to remain our guest. This property includes a noise alert monitoring system in order to ensure that neighborhood noise levels are respected. Again, please realize we want every group to enjoy their time, laugh, have fun and make memories. These devices are only to ensure noise levels don't reach a threshold that bothers our neighbors. Also, please note there is no electronic video surveillance monitoring pools or spas, or on the interior of the house.

**IMPORTANT** NO commercial vehicles, boats, trailers, motorcycles, trucks, truck campers or other recreational vehicle or equipment shall not be allowed on any part of the Property nor Common Areas in the Bella Beach community.

Fabulous location, wonderful view, house very well appointed and we felt very welcomed. Not sure which part we enjoyed most, the crow's nest with the breathtaking views, or the incredible gardens out by the jacuzzi and deck. We will return! Thank you for being the hosts with the most.

We've stayed at this property twice now and both times were amazing! The location is perfect. Excellent veiw of the beach and just a short walk down to the beach. The neighborhood is quiet and there is a nice cute small cafe nearby to get coffee, ice cream and breakfast\lunch.The bigger cities are just a short drive away, so you can do some sightseeing and shopping. Depot Bay has some great charter boats to go whale watching or fishing. The house is a very nice, large beach house. The house was very clean and had everything you'd need. The hot tub sadly wasnt heating properly this second time we stayed here so that was a bummer. Also, the jets in the tub in the master bath were not working. But everthing else outweighed those two minor issues! This is the perfect vacation rental if you're planning a trip for this area!

My wife and I passed by the Bella Beach neighborhood 4 years back. We discovered this beautiful neighborhood through stopping for coffee at the local breakfast cafe. We promised ourselves we would return with our kids and recently we had the pleasure of visiting again for 4 days out of our 10 day vacation. Everything was wonderful. The neighborhood is adorable. The views from the home are perfect. And we enjoyed the local beach which is a short walk away. My son spent all his downtime in the 4th floor panoramic viewing room “Eyefull Tower.” We appreciate the memories! Thank you!

A lovely home in a picturesque beach community! House was well stocked and it was great for our groups of 5, adults and kids. Plenty of places for everyone to sleep and the kids loved the little nook bed in the living room and the “eyeful tower”. Views of the ocean from every deck and most of the windows. This home isn’t on the beach, but it is steps away! The location was great for all of the activities we wanted to do (whale watching in Depoe Bay and kayaking, hiking and shopping in Lincoln City). This home was a great starting off point and a great place to come home and relax at the end of the day! The management quickly answered all of our questions, although we really didn’t have many, everything was spelled out in the digital manual and helpful signage in the home.

We had an amazing time at Luna Bella! The location and proximity to the beach cannot be beat. Close enough to larger cities to go for day trips and dinners, but far enough away that the beach was never too busy. Found some great seashells, sand dollars, and agates along the beach. The kids got to see starfish and sea urchins at the south end of the beach. The house was comfortable and spacious. Great views from the decks and crow's nest. We had a minor problem with a shower not heating up, but iTrip was able to send someone to fix the issue within a few hours. The hot tub on the deck was clean and a great spot to hang out after dinner. We liked it so much, we extended out stay by an extra day. We hope to come back to Luna Bella in the future!

Super cozy place. Well appointed kitchen. I loved watching football from the "daytime nap bed" as we called it on the living room. Beds were comfortable, and there was a red chair in the living room that was so comfortable we raced to see who could get it first. Short walk to the beach, and so many dogs in the neighborhood! Small coffee shop within walking distance, and about the same distance into town, or to Lincoln City. Hot tub was very relaxing and seemed well maintained. We would definitely stay here again!

It was a beautiful place to stay. Very clean, plenty of linens, and kitchen utensils. It was handy to dry our things after using the spacious hot tub. I would recommend some type of outdoor lighting as when we checked in it was very dark and we could not see so had to use our flashlight on our phones. The grill had just two of the three burners working but we managed. We thought the coffee pot was a K-cup kind as stated so we brought our own coffee but could not use them in the pot. Overall a very good experience and would stay again.

The house was clean and comfortable. I was surprised at all the stairs. I do not think this house is approiate for the elderly. We found out we could not use the garage. There was not clear instructions on how to turn on the fireplace. We would stay again now that we know of these things.

Family of 5, includinge my mother-in-law, my spouse, and a 4 y/o and 8 y/o children. The location is wonderful, in a quiet community of what seems like mostly rentals. The beach is just steps away, and we could see the ocean from the property's balcony. The house was as advertised, except that the photos show a foosball table that was not there when we stayed. There was a bin of beach toys, which the kids loved, and two beach chairs. Make sure to bring your own chairs if you have more than two adults in your party. The hot tub was exactly what we needed after a full day with the kids. The property was great, we had a wonderful time, and would stay here again.

We loved the location and the house was really cute. When we got there the upstairs was too hot and some of the windows had no screens so when we opened them we had a lot of mosquitoes. We had a map that didn't work in the birds nest and the gaming system was not connected. The handy man that came in the morning said all of that should have been checked but it hadn't. Just a heads up that it should be looked into because sometimes people are only staying a couple of days and don't have time to enjoy the space.

This house is located in a neighborhood that is nicely landscaped with great views of the ocean from both decks and lookout tower. Beach access is very close. The house was clean and beds were comfortable. Had a quaint park for children in the neighborhood. We also enjoyed access to a coffee/pastry shop closeby. A very nice place with room for all. I was worried about privacy along the main drag to the beach, but this place was private and had a nice cozy feel. Well stocked kitchen, comfy beds, and hot tub was very nice and clean. Loved the view as well!

Overall, it is a pretty great place with one significant caveat. The house is nice and has everything you'd want for an Oregon Coast Vacation. Ocean view from both decks. Ocean view from the hottub on the deck. decent kitchen, bed, and bathroom situations. Easy access to a lot of activities and towns shopping site seeing and all. The caveat was the house keeping. Upon our arrival the bed in the master bed room had clean sheets on it but we discovered that the 2 mattress covers, and 3 inch mattress topper all had a large recent pee stain that still smelled strongly of urine with a child sized pee foot print right in the middle of it. I assume it had to be from the party who stayed just prior to us in the house. I contacted the company after the first night telling them about it and they offered to send someone out to change the protectors and linens. A nice lady came right away from the company and helped me resolve the problem. I understand that mistakes happen and all but housekeeping should have caught it.

I had a wonderful time staying at Luna Bella. It is a wonderful spot for a couple or two, just steps away from the beach. We LOVED the reading nook up the spiral staircase in the cupola. I would definitely stay here again.

We were very disappointed to find a noise level monitor in the house, as this was not disclosed on the listing page. When bought to their attention, the property management staff falsely claimed disclosure of the device was not required, in direct contradiction to the policy outlined on the VRBO website. Additionally, there is a curfew on the hot tub and for house in general, which was not stated in the listing details either. It would have been one thing if we knew these details up front and could have made an informed choice, but to find out on the day of check-in, after we'd driven a day to get there, made our vacation arrangements around this property and already paid for the pleasure, this was extremely dissatisfactory. I will add, we are respectful of anywhere we stay, had no intent for a loud party and have never received any such complaints, but what adult wants to be monitored and have a curfew, especially while on vacation? If the neighbors were to see or hear anything from the the hot tub, which they certainly would because it's in full view on the front porch and very close to them, (as well as a general use path to the beach), it would have been shrieks of displeasure as the hot tub would not heat up. The best advice the staff gave us was to sit in the tepid water with the lid half closed... while it was raining. Really, the responses we revived from the iTrip team was one of the most disappointing aspects of this adventure. Much more so than the meager views of the lookout on top of the house, from which you can see a little beach for sure, but it's mostly houses in the HOA and the VR park next door. Outside of these issues, the house is pretty nice and the location near the beach is great, but not nearly enough to balance the equation.

First the good. The property is a nice house, with a good layout and as advertised in the description and pictures. Decorations were nice, and furnishings were good. I liked the house, and would stay there again, except... The communication from the management really detracted from the stay. The first clue was in an email after I booked the place, with highlight text saying that the property was not to be used as a party spot. I mentally dismissed that message, thinking it didn't apply to me, as I was traveling with my wife and 15 year old daughter down from Seattle in our Prius. I think you can picture our group. Other communication from the management was fine, with access codes and directions delivered at appropriate times. Then, on the day we checked in, I got a text message asking me to acknowledge that I received the following message: the property is in an area with year-round neighbors, and that the hot tub had quiet hours from 10pm to 8am. I acknowledged this as it seemed perfectly reasonable to me. Then, at the end of dinner, I got a phone call(we were still eating, so I didn't answer). Checking for a message, I saw another text asking me to again acknowledge the rules for the hot tub. I again replied. After dinner we went into the hot tub, and, paying close attention to the time due to the concern from the management, got out at 9:45pm. Then, at 11:24pm, I got a message "Please make sure no one is using the hot tub. It is after 10pm and past quiet hours. Thank you". I ignored this one, but at 11:55pm I got another text "I am still receiving reports of people outside and it is well after 10pm. We are dispatching someone to the house, and if your group is in violation of house rules, we will be forced to escalate". This prompted a text reply from me and a phone call to the dispatch line. I let them know those reports were false and that I didn't like the harassment about a hot tub being used when it wasn't. The remainder of the stay was fine, with minimal, and appropriate communication from the management. However, I did wake up thinking about how annoying the property management was, rather than how beautiful the Oregon coast is. And when we used the hot tub I looked suspiciously at neighbors, wondering if one of them had falsely reported hot tub usage or if the management was confused on different properties. Overall, it negatively impacted the enjoyment of the stay.
