Peaceful country accommodation in the heart of the Catlins, overlooking Papatowai and the Tahakopa Valley. Our restored character villa set on farmland at the edge of Catlins Forest Park is the ideal base for your Catlins holiday. Our 4 bedroom 2 bathroom lodge has a wood burner, heat pump and a sunny conservatory, and an old fashioned clawfoot bath.

As described, nice quiet location, warm and comfortable with log fire. Awesome views and two big bathrooms with unlimited hot water.

A stunning location and comfortable house. Perfect for our family get together. There was no communication from our hosts prior to arrival. The house was freezing cold on arrival. It took a number of hours to warm up spoiling our first night. Once warmed we were very comfortable. Perhaps the heat pump could be times to turn on one hour before arrival

The property was perfect for our stay. Would recommend to others particularly groups. Great access to the Catlins and a home away from home. The owners greeted us on arrival and communication was good throughout the booking process. Many thanks
