We had a wonderful, relaxing stay on HHI. The walk to the beach was nice and enjoyable. We took the longer route to Alder Lane Beach Access all but once. We loved the walk. We took a day trip to Fish Haul Beach, collecting shells and sharks' teeth. HH Ice Cream and Duck Donuts were amazing! We also loved visiting Sea Pines and eating at the Crazy Crab. The home was very nice and provided everything we needed. The appliances were great, the kitchen was well-stocked, and the ample seating in the living room allowed us to enjoy games and movies. Make sure to bring bug spray, as there are lots of mosquitoes, and you are next to a lagoon. However, this wasn't enough to ruin a wonderful vacation!

We enjoyed our stay. Plenty of room for the kids and close to the beach. Beach chairs and towels were a plus. We would book again.

We had a fun time and this property is close enough to everything that we could ride bikes to everything we wanted to do.
Unit was not clean when we arrived (master bed and bath was not clean, bed not stripped, towels on floor in bathroom), but we had requested early check in, so we cleaned it and washed the bed sheets and towels. There are not enough blankets in this unit. Floors and baseboards were dirty and cobwebs on chandelier. There is a broom, but no swifter. That would be a good addition for guest use. We did ask manager and she was going to drop one off, but we did not see her or the swifter. Unit could use a deep clean.

This was the perfect place for our family of six. Super clean and all the extras included! We loved that blankets, beach chairs (even an umbrella) were part of the provided amenities. That being said - there’s so much to do in the area that we didn’t even use those things! We walked to the beach, swam in the pool, and ate at so many great places! This house had lots of thoughtful touches like plenty of cooking utensils and curtains to ensure darkness when needed. It was quiet and convenient. We enjoyed it very much.
