Traditional housing, right near the heart of Old Town Split. Walk to the bus, wharf, markets, and foreshore. Felt like I was experiencing life of residents in and around the Old Town. Comfortable, clean, roomy, safe and a cute window. Murals on some walls along the street. No cars in the street, easy to walk with no noise.
Google chose the most complex route past back-of-house businesses with their skip bins, twisting through narrow walkways and steps when there was a much more direct and easier route. Lovely local, however, helped me understand what street I was on and how to find the property. I should have checked the map more carefully before trusting Google Maps.

It is close to the city centre and has a beautiful garden with fruits hanging around.
The garden area was a bit noisy. The room is close to the main door, where people keep coming and going. There is constant noise of people talking next to the door. The most annoying part was when someone opened my door at 9:30 a.m. without knocking at my room, though checkout was at 10 a.m. They were too pushy to leave the flat ASAP. Also, at 7 a.m. in the morning, some people were standing and talking next to my door.
