Overall, a very good and comfortable apartment with nice author's design elements - really great value for money. It is located on the 4th floor and is overlooking the courtyard/playground, which is gives a comfort to those who don't like accommodations at high altitude. The apartment was very clean and, unlike some other apartments for rent in this part of Dubai, here there were no any traces of unpleasant smell in the premises/bathrooms, no insects. The kitchen was well equipped (only a dishwasher was missing, but it didn't cause any discomfort for us) - toaster, Dolce Gusto coffee machine, electric kettle. Washing machine functioned well. All sorts of dishes and cutlery were new and in sufficient number. Home care chemicals, hygiene items, vacuum cleaner and hair dryer were in place. Some guests earlier complained about poor wi-fi coverage, specifically in the bedrooms, which is not fully true: wi-fi was not available only in the master bedroom near the head of the bed. The area in the same bedroom, where a small table and armchairs are, is covered by wi-fi, especially when you keep the door open. It is recommended to buy local sim-cards with 30 min of local/international calls and 8GB of internet (USD 25-30) upon arrival in the airport, so that mobile Internet will always be available. Free Netflix from the host and very good gym (100 meters aways from apartment block) were an additional bonus. Within 200 meters range there are several foodstores with a very good choice of foodstaff and convenience goods. We didn't meet the host in person - all communications, including the link to the wi-fi lock, were done through HiGuests secured forum. All inquiries were timely attended. We will surely strive to book the same apartment on our next visit to Dubai.

The apartment is not completely new (which was not a surprise at all for us), but is still very well maintained and made up. Shower curtain missed in the bathroom near the kitchen (in master bedroom it was in place). It would also be advantageous to put a couple of electrical adaptors as all electric outlets in Dubai are Brithish style ones.

Good location. Rooms were big. Provided plenty of toilet paper for 1 week.

No one was there to greet us when we arrived. We were waiting for 2 hours outside the apartment after a 7 hour flight. The owner said that he sent the link to get inside which was not true and there was no wifi in the building unless your actually outside the apartment so it was difficult to communicate with him. There was no washing powder or toilet cleaner. The baths were stained and there were hairs on the sheets. There was no salt and pepper. The lock was temperamental and sometimes locked us out.
