Host & Stay - Harbour Mist Cottage

Location and great cottage with all mod cons. Lovely and homely . Decor lovely and nice to living rooms and two toilets. Lovely hot showers.

Not enough toilet rolls for the 4 of us. Cracked mirror and paint coming of in the down stairs living room. No bin in this room too . Toilet hook in upstairs toilet .

We had a wonderful stay at Harbour Mist Cottage for a few days away with the kids in the summer holidays. The house was well located and easy to reach. We were lucky to get a parking space opposite and didn’t need to move the car but the option the use a space up the hill is a great asset. We didn’t have a problem with the low ceilings upstairs and felt this added to the character of the house. Would recommend 👍🏻

It was a good location for the 199 steps and restaurants, shops and bars. Its a bit scruffy around the property but good to have a dedicated parking space not far away and we were able to park on the road as well making it easier to pack the car when we left.

This is not really the fault of the property as such but we didnt get much sleep! There appear to be seagulls nesting on the roof which as the bedrooms are in the eaves right by where we were trying to sleep. There was alot of noise from around 3.30am I am not sure if there is anything to deter the sea gulls but really we did not sleep for three nights.

Location, very clean property. Really good, powerful shower.

No near parking, very low ceilings in the bedrooms which caused many a bumped head. Not able to adjust the heating so at one point very cold especially during the first night but after an attempt to turn it up came on eventually. Requested an earluer arrival but had it declined, so we couldn't get in until 4pm. On the day of departure, I requested a later check out only an hour and a half, had that also declined but asked if we wanted to book and extra night!!?? Very disappointing. Over charged for literally 2 nights and a day.
