Fully equipped, cosy modern secluded bungalow close to the Beach

From the moment we walked in the door we knew we were going to have a great time at the Lavenders. It is unpretentious (some might call it a bit old fashioned) but so cosy and very homely. The kitchen was so well equipped and absolutely everything in and around the bungalow is organised with the holiday makers' needs in mind. The location is perfect. We loved staying there and will be going back.

Property was clean and quite, good for the dogs and an easy walk to the beach. Good relaxed stay.

Lovely location . Desperately needs modernising and also a further bathroom . No mirrors in any of the bedrooms. Had to sit in the hall to do hair, makeup etc. Oven appeared dirty also hidden corners not clean. Garden was well kept but in no way dog proof. On the positive side the property had good heating facilities plus plenty of hot water . Kitchen was well equipped. Repairs were actioned quickly.

We love Nth Norfolk and would love to own this lovely bungalow and give it some TLC. The garden was not secure enough for us to risk our hound and terrier off lead in ( chkn wire in bottom of long hedge boundaries) but OK for some dogs it seems and it was a lovely garden with wildlife visiting. Generally clean just a bit grubby in parts, maybe some things need more deep cleaning. We cleaned some things on arrival and it felt and smelt better than when we arrived. Guess we all have different standards, a left over bit of burnt on Indian meal in roof of microwave didn't help😝and that will have been the fault of a previous disrespectful guest. A very comfy bed and clean bedding. Biscuits, tea, coffee,sugar condiments cleaning stuff etc were provided if needed. Dined at village pub twice, prices very reasonable. A very special peaceful holiday with fab walks from the door, thankyou.

A very suitable property for our extended family stay. Lovely garden and all well equipped for adults and children. Really wished the VBRO website worked on my android devices.

Very comfortable bungalow.Peaceful location with a visit from a muntjack deer on our first day.Our dogs loved the large well kept garden and settled in straight away..The beach is 10 minute walk and some charming coastal towns and villages within easy reach by car.. David is an excellent and helpful host. We would definitely return.

Lovely bungalow and garden. Spacious and well appointed, furnished and decorated. Dog-friendly garden which was a huge bonus. We had a very happy and relaxing holiday.

This property is exactly the break my sister & I needed. So peaceful…all we could hear was the odd golf shot & the birds. 10 min walk from the beach. Lovely walks in the beach with my dog. I just wish we could have stayed longer. I will return in the future.

This house is 5 mins walk from an amazing huge beach and 10 mins walk from a lovely pub. The village is super quiet but just a short drive from hunstanton. It was perfect for a relaxing break with our dog. The garden was perfect for her and we could let her roam around without worrying about her escaping which was great! The garden was a real plus for this property - it would be great to come back in the summer so we can take full advantage of it! We loved our holiday at Holme - thanks David!

Me, my husband and our 2 dogs Oscar and Poppy had a lovely peaceful stay. Everything we needed was there and beautiful walks from the door. The garden was lovely, with lots of birds and a visit from a beautiful muntjac deer. Perfect 😊

Cozy , clean and warm. Excellent facilities . 1 min walk to beach and Norfolk sea wall. You can walk to Hunstanton cafe shops in 20 mins . Pub with excellent food walking distance from bungalow . A great place to have a break next to the coast .

We had a fantastic week staying at this property, it is set in a big garden, in a very private and quiet position. Very well located for exploring the North Norfolk coast. The property is basic but very clean and well equipped. It was perfect for our needs and we enjoyed watching the hares, muntjacs and bird activity in the garden!

The cottage was very welcoming, the garden was ideal for our dogs but the winning factor for us was the number of different walks all on the door step. We had no need to keep using the car, enjoying the relaxing time so much have already booked for next year

What a wonderful relaxing stay, well equipped bungalow for lovely evenings in and ideally located for amazing walks and even the local pub is in walking distance for meals out .

The bungalow is in the perfect location...such a short walk from the dunes and the beach. It is also so wonderfully quiet, with many birds and hares to be seen, from the comfort of the house and garden, every day. The bungalow itself was very clean, well maintained and well equipped. We loved it there so much, we didn't want to leave.

Had a lovely week spotting birds and butterflies and squirrels in the garden of this lovely bungalow. Everything we needed was there for us and our little dog loved it too.

Very close to the beach, quiet Location. Could do with a bit of modernising, but otherwise very well equipped. The nature reserve beach was a favourite as you can park and is just a short walk through the trees to the beach.

Nice comfortable bungalow in a great location for walks shame the weather was not up to much.

The property was clean, peaceful and well equipped. Very close to coastal path and beautiful beach. Was blessed with sunny weather during our stay so spent a lot of time in the large enclosed garden listening to the birds and spotting local wildlife, perfect

Lavenders was not a bad place, the weather wasn't too bad and we did get in a good deal of walking. This was the first time my wife and I (doggy too) had tried this kind of a break and it proved to be quite a pleasant experience where we also learned quite a bit. The position of the bungalow was rather good, if you like walking, wildlife, golf and sand. Local facilities were a little basic though, quite a drive to the shops, cafes and restaurants, with not too many food delivery services. However, we will probably still repeat this but perhaps plan things a little differently. A comment or two about the property. Yes, it was cosy and secluded with a short walk to the beach, but there were a few things that could do with updating/changing. Firstly, on the day we arrived all checked out OK but in the box room the curtain rail was badly broken. we didn't need that room so no problem. During our stay, following a good soaking by the heavy rain, we discovered the washing machine was not only a little outdated but rather in need of a clean, which we did before using. The television set was also a bit outdated and lacked the usual Freeview digital channels? The heating worked OK most of the time (it wasn't a warm week), but one of the storage radiators seemed somehow out of sync? Lastly, the ironing board needs replacing, it's top is disintegrating. And, by the way, the new gardener seemed like a nice guy. All in all, not a bad stay.

the bungalow is well equipped, very conveniently situated for the beach. very picturesque surroundings with pleasant walks close by.
