Admirals Cove

The layout and decor were wonderful with a view of the bay. The location was great - 5 minutes to the port townsend ferry and not far from coupeville for dinner. It's in a quiet neighborhood too.

It was very stressful getting into the property, even though my husband is a realtor and has used lock boxes for 40 years. We called to get help and learned that there is a different lockbox with a key. We thought about taking our luggage with us in case we couldn't get back into the house for our 2nd night. Also we couldn't get the thermostat- - to go above 52 degrees.

The views were stunning with big windows and a porch to soak in the Puget sound and Olympic mountains in the distance and the yard was perfect for my pup to run and play ball. Would absolutely stay here again.

While absolutely zero fault of the home itself, the navy planes flying over were extremely loud. I knew about them in advance and had looked up their flight schedule so could plan around it. I cheered every time they flew over the house so my dog ended up thinking it was a fun game and chasing them in the yard (thank goodness!). But if someone is sensitive to loud noises or if you have young kids who go to sleep earlier in the evening, this might be a problem for you.

The view from the entire back of the house is spectacular. The house was large and comfortable. Our puppy especially enjoyed romping in the huge fenced in yard.

While there was a French press and single cup keurig type coffee maker. We would have appreciated a full size drip coffee maker.

Beautiful view of the water, very relaxing. Our friends were very impressed and so were we.
