Ideal stay to explore and hike mountains in Plose on top of Brixen, very kind host, nice location!

Very helpful support from lady (owner family?), Barbara as i was in trouble when i realized that the Flixbus i took from Munich is not arriving to downtown Brixen as expected, but instead will stop in the middle of nowhere in nearby town. Barbara was so kind to directly gave clear instruction what local bus to take and from which bus stop (had to walk circa 600m) and it was very helpful as she had issued for me my Sudtirol pass so i could take the bus directly first to Bus station in Brixen then next bus to the mountain village of Eores/Afers where the Gasthof is located. Highlights of the Gasthof: small things but very meaningful like small chocolates, small notebook for travelers, perfect breakfast to start the day, but most appreciated was the hospitality of the family who run this place. On my last day i went up hiking and in the afternoon came back to pick up my backpack, but as the next bus is still in next 1 hour, i asked to stay in common room in restaurant the kind gentleman who was watching sports in TV offered me a bowl of potato chips, that was very special. Will definitely stay here again if next time come back to Brixen !

Just small room for improvement: the shampoo and shower gel in bath room was provided in 2-3 small sachets, which quickly run out after 1 night stay, perhaps could provide instead in bottle so could hold more shower gel/shampoo.

very lovely hosts, comfortable stay

The hosts were very friendly. This was our first hotel in our one week stay within Dolomites. We weren’t aware that this property was some 20-min drive on windy hilly road upwards from town, so we were surprised when we got there. We got there at around 715pm and the host told us that the last order for dinner was 730pm and we quickly settled in the restaurant as we didn’t want to drive back down to Bressanone. The food was delicious. Room was basic but very clean and got everything we needed. Breakfast was basic but sufficient and got lovely coffee

Loved the house, the area and the staff. Would like to visit again 🥰

Beautiful area, house very well taken care of, free tickets for buses and gondola lifts, and staff that could inform us about the area and hikes all over the Dolomites, om Italian, German and English. The room had a balcony with both chairs and table, and a sunbed. The view from the balcony was stunning 😍 The room was spacious, clean, good furnitured and had the best bed and duvet you can think of.

Guests were smoking at the entrence, so the smell of the cigarettes filled most of the frist floor.

Good for one night

Helpful staff (for example gave wifi password as he saw us using our phones), nice breakfast, free of charge dessert which was an exquisite tiramisu after we stayed when they were already cleaning. Very silent environment, nice views. Two balconies.

The bed was a bit hard and we did wake up because of this a few times.

ottimo soggiorno fuori da bressanone

struttura molto accogliente. la camera singola spaziosa e con balconcino sulle montagne. fermata del bus vicino per poter andare a fare passeggiate in montagna o a visitare bressanone anche se questa è un po' lontana.proprietaria molto gentile, in base a quello che vuoi fare ti dà utili consigli. brixen card per gratuità sui mezzi pubblici e per le visite ai musei. buona qualità della cena e anche il prezzo non è cosi elevato per un menù con tre portate.

un po tanto lontana da bressanone (30' in auto e 45' in bus) e il bus passa ogni ora quindi se lo perdi devi aspettare tanto quello successivo. colazione non molto ricca. poca chiarezza sul costo delle cene se non si ha la mezza pensione (25 euro o 35 euro la domenica con bevande escluse ma il costo non viene dichiarato).

Posizione strategica. Colazione buona forse la arricchirei un pò di più. Staff gentilissimo e molto disponibile a dare indicazioni su camminate/rifugi/attività nei dintorni. Ottimo posto e ci ritornerei volentieri. Pulizia camere eccellente.

Nulla, se devo fare un appunto migliorerei un pò la colazione ma è comunque ottima.

Lugar agradable y personal muy amable. Buena cocina. Volvería.

Ambiente familiar muy agradable. Un restaurante con carta muy rica y habitación grande con dos terrazas. El personal amable y educado .

Dormimos dos noches y cuando volvimos el primer día no nos habían hecho la cama . Habían doblado los edredones sin estirar sábanas ni almohadas ni recogido y doblado toallas. Supongo que algo excepcional xq cuando llegamos la habitación estaba impecable el primer día. Debí avisar a los propietarios en cuanto lo vi, seguro que ellos no estaban al tanto.

Una experiencia para repetir.

Todo. Habitación cómoda , buen desayuno y la cena estaba muy bien, con un buffet de ensalada antes del plato principal. Los dueños hacían todo lo posible por entenderme, yo no hablo italiano y menos alemán pero hoy en día con el traductor casi no hay límites. La única pega fue que me habría quedado algún día más pero no tenían sitio 😔. Por algo será.

Sehr schöner Gasthof. Freundliches Personal bzw. Besitzer. Toller Ausblick von der Terrasse und dem Balkon. Leckeres Frühstück. Nur 100 m von der Bushaltestelle entfernt. Brixen Card inklusive. Ich war leider nur für eine Nacht dort.

Fantástica

Todo muy bien, la limpieza, la habitación, el desayuno, la atención del personal. El entorno del hotel es precioso y muy tranquilo. Ideal para subir a Plose. En el hotel nos dieron gratuitamente la Brix Card válida durante los días de estancia (da acceso a las cabinas para subir a Plose y al transporte público). Estupenda iniciativa.
