Lovely, recently refurbished four bedroom house..

Everything - all the rooms were big so lots of space for a family get together. We were let down by another nearby property and Dawn accepted our booking at one hour’s notice. Saved the day!

Das Haus ist einige Kilometer vom Stadtzentrum entfernt, aber mit dem Zug sehr gut erreichbar. Vom Bahnhof läuft man ungefähr eine Viertelstunde. Der Vorteil ist, dass das Haus außerhalb einer touristischen Zone in einer sehr ruhigen Straße gelegen ist. Auf diese Weise bekommt man etwas vom "normalen" Leben in einem Außenbezirk von London mit. Verschiedene Restaurants (sehr gutes fish and chips restaurant!) sind nicht weit entfernt, zu Fuß gut erreichbar. Die Ausstattung der Küche war ok, für uns hat es gut gepasst. Eine zweite Pfanne wäre schön gewesen. Die Bäder sind einfach ausgestattet, aber sauber und alles hat funktioniert.

Die Ausziehcoach im Wohnzimmer hat schon bessere Jahre gesehen, etwas krumm und schief. Unsere Tochter hat sich entschieden, auf der Coach so zu schlafen. Das ging dann auch, wäre aber definitiv nichts für größere Personen! Ansonsten hat alles so gepasst wie beschrieben: Drei Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbetten und ein Zimmer mit einem Einzelbett, hat alles super gepasst. Für 7 Personen sehr gut, für 8 (wie bei uns) mit leichten Einschränkungen.

looks a mess from the front door weeds all over , broken window on the front , the back looks a reel mess weeds all over the fences need sorting, not very clean at all hairs all on the floor the fridge was mucky the tins in the oven were left with bits on them just didn’t look very clean in general,, the hot tap in the top bedroom moves and the cold on the shower is very hard to move, the bed settee is very uncomfortable my friends complained, could do with more chairs has we had to sit at the kitchen table, needs decorating ( it would look a lot better) the photos are miss leading, never saw the owners/ care taker at all , it needs decorating and a good clean we left it has we found it
