The stairs!

The location was very handy

The stairs were very steep. More like a two story flat than a house. The sofa stunk of dog, I didn’t realise until I was sat there for a while and then smelt of it, I was to have another shower. Then I used a duvet to put on the sofa. Also upstairs was freezing, the heating was set at 20 degrees and wouldn’t change on the thermostat. All of the throws needed washing too. The bedding felt horrible in the main room. The kitchen smelt of previous guests food, like fried food. Lovely views from windows. Staff were lovely.

The house had a quirky feel with cute features. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable and the kitchen was basic but perfectly adequate for a weekend stay. Also, the hosts were really good at answering any questions and the arrival instructions were clear and concise.

The stairs could prove a problem for some guests but the rooms were all lovely.

The stairs!!! Loads of them, as soon as you enter the property. No mention in the description which I really hope gets changed. The staircases were narrow, steep and winding and totally unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues, children or elderly. There are even steps down then up to the loo (terrible if you have to get up in the night) plus more steps up then down to the kitchen (rubbish when trying to carry cups of tea to the lounge). Only one loo also which would be challenging if you have a big group.
