Marisa Apartments Hvar II

Appartement had alle voorzieningen, niks ontbrak. De twee balkons hadden een leuk uitzicht. De host was heel aardig betrokken en behulpzaam.

This is a very modern, aesthetically pleasing, and well-appointed apartment with a small galley kitchen perfect for making a little breakfast, coffee/tea or snack. If you are going to be out all day sightseeing and eating at restaurants, you'll find it to be a great value and the perfect balance of space. We didn't need an ocean view or gourmet kitchen -- just a place that was exceptionally clean, where we could comfortably shower/sleep, and it met our needs nicely. There was wonderful water pressure, (never ran out of hot water with four women showering). Good counter space in bathrooms. Hosts were very polite and responsive to all questions/needs during check in/out, and tried to remedy the one issue we had with the laundry. It is a considerable hike up many stairs to get to the apartment from the harbour, so we used a taxi service the host recommended upon arrival and departure to lug our suitcases -- which would be the case for any rental in this town as it is ALL hills/stairs and not for the faint of heart! But, getting lost in the narrow pathways walking to/from town is highly advisable and well worth the exercise to see the charming architecture of the neighborhoods lush with flowers, vegetable gardens, olive and citrus trees, and grape vines.

Our only real problem was we weren't made aware of the hours for the laundry room which is shared by all units in the complex and only open during business hours. Since we were sightseeing/boating all day we couldn't do any laundry after returning in the evening and missed our opportunity. We did reach out to the host and were told they would open it for us earlier the next morning to accommodate us, but unfortunately we had an early departure and were not able to use it. An additional washer in the laundry area would be helpful.
