Gdańsk Old Town Apartments & Studios by Lion Apartments

The apartment is cozy, well furnished, and well maintained. There are a lot of drawers and shelves to put your things on. The kitchen has everything you'd need to prepare simple and more complex meals (although it is missing a microwave). The location of the apartment complex is very good. It is close to tram and bus stops and within a short walk of the tourist center, with restaurants, cafes, etc. The area is also very quiet, so you can sleep with the window open without any issues. The apartment is managed by an organized company. This means they offer customer support, provide a website to manage your stay, and offer additional options such as delivered breakfasts or customizing the room to your preferences.

The apartment can generally be described as small, especially for the price. This is typical for the city/area, but it is still expensive compared to our other vacations (including Prague, etc.). It is impossible to lock the door from the inside, so the only thing separating you from the outside is a code lock. While this may have been done to prevent guests from accidentally locking themselves out, it made us feel less secure while inside the apartment. The second guest did not have full access to the website visitor panel, but this could be, as kids say, an ,,skill-issue" on our part.

Locations was great and the apartment was very clean.

No microwave!

Our stay was acceptable. The apartments advertise free parking, but when we left our car in their parking lot, we received a fine. Adding to that, there was excessive early-morning noise due to construction happening nearby.
