The Bridge Self-Catering is a lovely spot for a remote stay on Skye!

The Bridge was a wonderful place to stay on Skye! It's very remote on the northern end of the island, and that made it so quiet and peaceful - gorgeous view over the fields to the sea. Easy walk to the nearby bay and close to the Quiraing hike, which was spectacular. The house was spacious and spotlessly clean. Rooms and beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and great for cooking our own meals. The host provided excellent and helpful information both in the cabin and before arrival. There are a couple of smaller units in a separate building behind the Bridge house - not at all an issue, I just wasn't aware of that before arriving so thought I'd mention it. This place was really a wonderful spot for our family's stay, and we appreciated the many lovely, thoughtful touches. We didn't want to leave!

We soaked in all the goodness we could.

They had stocked it with lots of goodies. Nice large table for games and eating. We played a game of Monopoly!! Beautiful view and the sea. Everything was updated and working well. Beds were comfortable and windows gave us good ventilation. Great water pressure and hot water!!

Bumped my head on the ceiling up stairs. I didn’t like that I had to leave!!!!

Really lovely and great views from house too.

The inside and outside of the house was very nice. All rooms were great and really liked that there were games and colouring books in the living rooms as well as the kitchen having good supplies. Lovely views from windows too.

The only thing that wasn't great was the sinks in the upstairs bathrooms as they were under the angled roof so was harder to wash you face etc, apart from that everything was amazing.

The accommodation was fabulous, with a spectacular location. The stunning views and short hop to the Uig ferry made it an ideal base for our trip. The rooms were spotlessly clean, very comfortable, spacious, and well-appointed, with everything we could possibly need.

Wonderful home base in Skye!

The property was clean and very well appointed. The hosts provided information and a welcome basket. It was situated right between all of the places we wished to visit. The views were excellent and we wished we could have stayed longer!

The road getting out there was a little bumpy, but that’s a small price to pay for such a great place!

Great stay

Our house exceeded our expectations. The house is very close to Quiraing (much recommended!). Nice interior, very cozy and comfortable rooms (each room with separate bathroom and shower). Even the view from the window is amazing - there is a meadow just in front of the house, where rabbits live, so every morning we could see lots of rabbits running and playing just in front of us.

It was difficult to turn on hot water correctly - it was either too hot or too cold. When after the trek everyone wanted to have a shower (we were a group of 5), there was no hot water left, so some of us had to use cold water. But this is minor issue, as all the rest was fantastic.

This is a great place! We were a family of 6 and had plenty of room. The host was easy to communicate with and gave us great recommendations on restaurants, co-ops, and sights. The view out the front was beautiful. The only downside is the location, it is far from the rest of the isle.

Very spacious bedrooms and wonderful view out across farmland to the sea. The location was perfect for us to explore the northern part of the Skye. The wildlife that came around in the mornings and evenings was an unexpected bonus.

Excellent house to get into the wild areas of Skye and stay in maximum comfort.

I loved that this place is very comfortable, clean and spacious. The kitchen was equipped with lots of basic ingredients to support cooking a meal. Great views and space for two families if you wanted to go big.

It's a little remote, and far from services, but this also affords great views and serenity.

Absolutely lovely rooms and facilities. Thoughtfully supplied and very clean. Easy to find and clean instructions for everything. Travel cot, play mat and toys supplied for baby. Great location for exploring. We’d definitely try and stay again.

Family vacation at Skye

Pictures do not do justice. Sea view, mountain view, farm view. Extremely quite location.. we have seen 3 cars and 2 buses passing in 5 days, beds are comfortable. Location is AMAZING. 7 out of the top 10 MUST SEE in Skye were within 30-55 minutes drive. Well equipped kitchen. We all loved every minute of our stay. Highly recommended.

Všetko bolo dokonalé! Čisté, zariadené so všetkým, čo potrebujete, milí hostitelia. Asi najútulnejší dom, v akom sme boli. Nádherný výhľad na oceán, ľahký prístup z cesty. Veľmi pohodlné postele, kúpelňa v každej izbe, bohato zariadená kuchyňa. Takto by malo vyzerať každé ubytovacie zariadenie!
