Excellent position, very quiet but close to Winchcombe amenities and local attractions. Comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen and luxurious bathroom. Patio area pleasant to sit out in.
One of our party was elderly and there were no rails by the (few) steps in the hallway or in the shower and bath. Couldn’t get tv to work and wifi was intermittent.

Location and access to walks
No inner or outer mats at patio door to access the field for dogs. Also no promises milk in arrival pack which meant going out again to find a shop after a long drive from west Cornwall. No brush to sweep leaves off patio to stop them treading in.

Well appointed and spacious for 4 adults plus dog.
Good enclosed outside eating area and lovely field to walk dog on lead.
Generous gift of Prosecco most welcome.
Everything super quality from toaster to bed linen ( except the TV)
The owners quickly addressed the issues we had.
Great location for tackling the Cotswold Way.
Firstly I didn’t like receiving copious advertising messages from Bolthole Retreats as we had used booking.com.
Had to pay £40 extra for the dog and yet not even a water bowl was provided. Other places we’ve booked provide, bowl,blanket/ towel treats and poo bags.
Great quality of fixtures and fittings but a little maintenance required. Found drawer fronts loose in bedroom and bathroom and a loose tap. The shower door doesn’t shut tight. Artificial candles in bathroom not working.☹️
A loose light fitting in kitchen was shown to owners.
The TV seemed old and poor picture and the WiFi was very slow.
