Absolutely fabulous place. The cottage is perfectly tucked away in the heart of town — peaceful yet central. Full of charm, with remarkable attention to detail: portraits on the walls, beautiful ceramic kitchenware, stone floors and gently uneven walls. It feels like a true time capsule, transporting you to another era of quiet countryside living and evenings by the fireplace.
Very calm and relaxing atmosphere, yet everything is within easy reach — a convenience store and a lovely historic-style pub just a few steps away. An excellent base to explore the area: Sudeley Castle, the abbey, and easy day trips to Oxford and across the Cotswolds. Spring made it especially magical, with fresh blooms everywhere. David is extremely responsive and helpful! Thank you!

The house is located in a good location. It’s cute.
We only used this cottage to sleep. It’s an old cottage. The furniture is old. There are these poles that come out of the bed in the master bedroom. They are old. We took a video of the room when we arrived, which shows them slightly leaning/ crooked. When we left, they were leaning a bit more. I did not even notice, because we just slept in the beds and left. The host thinks we damaged this old bed. No one fell, no one was crazy; I think these posts are old and a bolt is loose. That does not warrant keeping our deposit. I will never come back here just because of the owners. If they are reasonable, they will go look at their old bed and give me back my deposit. God knows we did not cause this damage.
