Perfect cozy home for a Cotswold getaway

I cannot fault this property, it was well decorated, extremely clean and plenty of space for the 5 adults that were staying. Plenty of parking, comfy beds and the added bonus of a hot tub. Great location for exploring the Cotswolds with great access to pubs and restaurants in Winchcombe. Amazing communication from the host and easy self check in.

Beautifully presented, super clean, fabulous facilities, and a very helpful host! Also, the property is in a great location in the Cotswolds… Winchcombe is a lovely village within close proximity to more renowned areas like Stow-on-the-Wold/Broadway/Bourton on the Water.

Fabulous stay, would return.

The home was absolutely lovely. It had everything you would need for a relaxing, peaceful stay. The home itself was clean, well equipped abd tastefully decorated. The kitchen had all we needed and more and the sitting room was comfortable and cosy. We didn't have time to use the games but what a great addition! The garden was gorgeous with the hot tub and furniture, we would love to come back in the summer to enjoy it more. The host was super helpful with great communication, and the app for the property was excellent, such a good idea. The little touches made our stay, and we really enjoyed it.

There was very little not to like. The only issue we had was that we couldn't get the heating to turn down or off so we were too warm, but the weather was also unreasonably mild for November. We also found the master duvet a little too heavy for us, but that's personal preference. A little dressing table and chair would be a great addition to the master bedroom, so that there is somewhere to sit to do hair and make up etc.

Fabulous country getaway in a cosy, stylish cottage; I wish we’d had longer!

The property is beautiful and stylish without you feeling scared to break anything, it’s a home away from home. Off-road parking for 2 cars, beautifully lit garden at night with a very roomy hot tub and robes to relax in. Washing machine and separate dryer. The view from the 2 front bedrooms was mega! The village itself is lovely with lots of pubs and eating options. Close to many sights and beautiful villages. Great log-burner in the lounge which adds instant cosiness! The kitchen has everything you might need, and cleaning supplies and salt/pepper/oil were provided, thank you! I imagine staying here over winter would feel like you’re on the set of ‘The holiday’ 😊 Lots of local walks with some great inspiration here: https://www.winchcombewelcomeswalkers.com/walks/ Upon booking you receive a link to everything you might need to know about the property which was really useful.

Nothing I didn’t like, it was really super. More as awareness for others than anything we didn’t like, we loved it! The staircase is a little steep (but with relatively few stairs), our aunt is a little unsteady on her feet and this was a bit challenging for her. The main bedroom, with a wonderfully large bed, is en suite and the other two double rooms share a Jack and Jill en suite, this was perfect for my sister and I. There is very limited clothes hanging in 2 of the 3 bedrooms, so that may be challenging with longer stays. The TV in the lounge doesn’t swivel/move and it was hard to comfortably view from the sofa, however, there’s a loveseat opposite which was perfectly placed.

Really great place - definitely recommend

We had such a lovely time staying here. Everything was spotless, was super high quality, and had everything we needed! The hot tub was preheated for us, plenty of towels, robes, dishwasher tabs, store cupboard essentials, cooking equipment, toilets rolls, washing tablets etc . Beds were super comfy as well - we’d definitely recommend staying here

Aesthetic house, ideal stay

This place is beautiful! We enjoyed our stay so much as 2 couples. Only negative was the previous guests had stole the robes, which the host informed us about so we didn’t have any sadly for our stay, and there weren’t enough spare towels for the hot tub, we used our shower towels. But host was so friendly and accommodating, excellent communication throughout. We did get a bit carried away with noise in the garden and a complaint was made about us. There are rules on the booking about noise so be mindful - we do apologise for this! x

Wonderful home in Winchcombe

The property was well equipped and very clean. The location was great. We also appreciated the digital guidebook provided.

The dryer didn’t work ( no hot air) but we were able to hang our clothes out to dry.
