I’m sure we would have loved the property…if had not been double booked by Booking.com!!! :(

Despite having booked and received confirmation, an hour before we were due to arrive we had notification that the property had been double booked by Booking.com and the owner had no knowledge of our booking. The owner was lovely and tried to contact Booking.com but to no avail.

We received no compensation for the error on Booking.com system and my emails were poorly responded to. Disappointed with the customer service I received.

Just the right size

The bathroom needs a new shower, and needs a new kettle, and the kitchen tap needs replacing.

Terrific two days. Wish we could stay longer.

Very cute with lots of capacity in 2 small floors. Gas heating stove! Tv. Sweet coffee! Historic street. Near castle wall. Back yard. Laundry. Dishwasher!

Shower head hard to use. Doors seem to require key on inside.

Location

The cottage had not been cleaned, there was no milk or welcome note. The overhead shower does not work and the other you have to hold it yourself, not ideal. TV in the bedroom doesn't work.

Great location, parking available and very comfortable

Really comfy bed, lovely hot shower, kitchen well stocked appliances for everything needed to cook, everything very easy to use! The extra things for dogs was a great touch - a gate for the door, sofa covers, bowl and mat. Will for sure keep in the saved for future Conwy visits!

We tried to put the heating on to dry some towels from the beach and it didn’t seem to come on, we have the same Nest heating system so unsure why! Everything else was 10/10

Location is extremely difficult to park if you had a large car impossible unfortunately there are two number fives in that street so if you have any kind of delivery, you will have to state the name of the Cottage otherwise the other number five will get your delivery

Beautiful stay

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage. It was everything we needed for the weekend. comfortable, well-equipped, and full of charm. The hosts provided plenty of helpful information leaflets and there were so many lovely places to visit nearby, which made exploring the area really easy. We couldn’t have asked for a better spot and would happily return!

The only small downside were previous people had damaged the bedroom carpet so there were a smell which I bought a plug in airfreshener for and we couldn't quite figure out the dishwasher and there was no toilet roll provided but quick stop at a local shop fixed that and doesn't take away from the beautiful stay we had

Great stay!

Lovely quaint cottage, clean and comfortable with everything you need for a self catering holiday. The owners have made great use of the space. Tastefully decorated. Location was perfect.

Problems with finding a parking space outside the cottage. Had to pay for the 24 hour parking up the road. The outside areas could do with a little tlc.

The property was lovely in a great position very nicely done. It was perfect for my needs.

I thought for the price that The showerhead should’ve been have somewhere to mount it. It was very difficult having to hold it and shower at the same time as I didn’t want to use big overhead shower every day because of my hair.

Great cosy cottage.

Lovely, clean and cosy. We loved the location of the cottage, it was up a hill but we were happy with the close walk from the station. Lowri our host was very helpful and accommodating with everything we asked about or needed. Would definitely stay there again if in the area.

Text day before some questions, is there a stair gate? What’s the access code? No response from owner. On the day of arrival due to access the accommodation at 3pm no access code was given, phoned no answer so had to wait. Phoned again at 4pm.. owner answered so got code! Not great communication In the kitchen there was no welcome pack ( wine / milk or anything) as others had received. Also small things like but essentially like no tea towel to dry cups etc.. bathroom could do with a refresh.

Lovely cottage in an excellent location in Conwy. Very easy to get into the centre where you have a good selection of pubs and restaurants.

Parking can be an issue I’m sure but we found it up be absolutely fine. Stairs are a little narrow as it’s a character property but we are only dinky so it wasn’t an issue for us!

Excellent location just no good for slightly larger people

The location was perfect the bed was ever so comfortable the chocolates were perfect

The toilet is just too small and a struggle and the settee is really hard to sit on also the outside light doesn’t work so was hard for the dog to see and the chair covers outside where soaked so unable to sit outside ( maybe keep them inside or in the bin outside ) other than that it’s a nice place

Nice cottage with everything you need but in the wrong place for me.

It was clean and very well appointed. They'd thought of most things we'd need. Nice outdoor space. Good size for 2 people, very well modernised house.

The cottage was on a very very steep hill. It is not suitable for elderly or people with a mobility problem like me. Therefore I didn't wholly enjoy our stay. We have been to Conwy many times and stayed in the town but we weren't prepared for the location.

Hyggeligt hus med nogle mangler

God beliggenhed, gode senge, dejlig terrasse. Hyggeligt lille hus. Værten var sød og hjælpsom.

Opvaskemaskinen og vaskemaskinen virkede ikke. Vores vært forsøgte at få hjælp men nåede det ikke mens vi var der. Strømmen gik i lokalområdet og vi var uden strøm i 2-3 timer. Vi fik ikke kontakt til vores vært før efter den kom igen, og måtte selv skaffe info fra de lokale. Da strømmen kom igen var fjernsynet brændt sammen, så en lidt ærgerlig afslutning på nogle ellers gode dage.
