About this house rental

The Annexe is part of the main house adjoining Castle House properties (see listing ). It comprises of a double room , bathroom , kitchen and balcony . This is an ideal ‘drop and go’ accommodation. It has its own very spacious private balcony with garden furniture. The kitchen is spacious and fully equipped. The bedroom has a large wall mounted T.V. It is located on the first floor and has outside steps leading the balcony and main door. The annexe is dog friendly and can accommodate 2 small dogs or 1 medium sized. There is a £10 fee per dog per stay . Dogs are not allowed to be left alone at any time.

Gwenda was there on our arrival and she is a lovely woman, our dogs also become friends with her Lovely host and the annex we stayed in was more than adequate for us, everything you need was in thereDog toilets and the end of the garden made things a lot easier tooAlso, lots of beautiful places to go a short drive away

Castle House is a great, clean and quiet place in a great location. Close to beaches, good restaurants and places for walks. We and our dog were delighted. Our hostess Gwenda is a very nice person, ready to help and advise in every matter. We will rate the stay very highly due to the place, comfort of rest and the hosts. We will be happy to come back here and we highly recommend Gwenda and her Castle House to everyone.

The Castle House Annexe was a very cute, little flat with a really, really comfortable, big bed and a lovely window seat where we could 'cwtch' up to read and watch the world go by. There was everything we needed in the kitchen and the bathroom was very spacious with a great shower. We thoroughly enjoyed spending our time, sitting on the elevated outside space in the mornings and evenings, between revisiting our favourite beaches and attractions. We also appreciated the 'goodies' that waited for us on arrival, especially the best 'Bara Brith' in the world! The hosts were amazing in every way and we learnt a lot about bees and beekeeping as well as discover that we had similar work backgrounds. We totally recommend the Castle House Annexe! Diolch yn fawr am bopeth!

This was a cosy stay in a warm, well equipped apartment - hosts Gwenda and Dick were exceptionally kind. Anglesey has numerous beautiful beaches, very pretty countryside and the interesting 'Copper Mountain' landscape is only a short distance away.

As soon as we booked Gwendas communication was first class. The check in was smooth, the apartment lovely , bigger than we expected the bed was as comfy as I've ever slept in , the shower was amazing if you wanted to cook all facilities were there with condiments. Gwenda even switched the central heating for us as when we went the weather was unseasonably cool . There is a large balcony which has the sun in the evening, would be nice to sit there with a beer or food after a long day .We travelled all around the island so the location was great for us , 5 mins drive to Amlwch which had pubs take outs cafes etc. All in all we enjoyed our stay and would definitely reccomend . We travelled with our little cavapoo dog who also enjoyed the stay .

Prior to arriving, communication from Gwenda (host) was excellent. On arrival a very warm welcome & told if there was anything we needed to just ask. There were even doggy treats for our King Charles spaniel. The annex was well equipped with everything we needed, the bed super comfy & a lovely bay window seat. Great bathroom facilities, fab shower & a smaller than average bath, but still very enjoyable whilst relaxing listening to my music. Lovely & peaceful, wouldn’t hesitate to stay again in the future. Gwenda & Dick were super hosts, thank you both for our relaxing break.

Right from booking Gwenda our host was brilliant her and her husband Dic are the perfect hosts They have a fabulous home Our stay in the Annexe was so relaxing and we chilled out completely The apartment has a fabulous kitchen with everything you could possibly need and a little welcome gift of home made cake and marmalade which was so thoughtful and delicious plus a doggie gift bag for our pug The shower is amazing and bathroom beautiful The bed is so comfy and warm and the best part is the beautiful window seat in the bedroom ideal to curl up on in the late evening sunshine and loose yourself in a good book( took me right back to my childhood at my Nans house thank you x) The exclusive terrace was perfect to sit outside after a day of walking and fishing lovely lit up at night and the use of a fire pit too A beautiful place to stay would highly recommend and we are looking to go back for another weekend in November Thank you Gwenda and Dic

I had a lovely time. My hosts were very friendly and helpful. I felt welcome and safe. The flat was very comfortable and quiet. The balcony terrace was a real suntrap. I loved the proximity to the coastal path for walking and beaches for swimming. The locals were very friendly. I would definitely go back.
