Beautiful garden, TJ and Adam very welcoming, access to the common on the doorstep.

TJ and Adam have created a wonderful calm sanctuary at The Hermitage. The property is approached through spectacular gardens where guests can relax. The rooms are airy, well proportioned and uncluttered with a galleried landing over the lounge. The very generous welcome pack of Prosecco, scones, jam, cream, fresh coffee and tea selection was a lovely surprise and the milk and chilled water in the 'fridge was a thoughtful touch. The off road parking was a perk. The Hermitage is the perfect base to explore North Devon with Westward Ho!, Appledore and Instow a short drive away. RHS Rosemoor is a 5 minute drive. The area is well served by convenience supermarkets with larger stores only a short drive away. The hosts are welcoming and have an infectious enthusiasm for their wonderful home and gardens. We had a fantastic break with perfect weather and very much look forward to returning.

Absolutely nothing!

Amazing garden, must be thousands of pounds worth of plants, the house is lovely, the welcome basket was amazing, prosseco, homemade scones, clotted cream n homemade jam, milk,water, assorted coffee n tea.

Stonehouse with woodburner fire. And the hosts are super friendly. Walk to shops, petrol station,pub,swimming pool.

Roomy, clean, comfortable & peaceful accommodation. On-site parking. Location within easy walking distance of Town Centre. Wifi. Home-made scones, prosecco, coffee machine & pods.

Nothing really. Having the bedroom upstairs with different levels of steps & with the bathroom downstairs was not easy for us to negotiate but wouldn't be a problem for the more able.
