Little Metung Hideaway

We really enjoyed our stay. The property is peaceful, surrounded by beautiful nature, and felt very relaxing. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped with everything we needed, making it perfect for a family stay. The host was wonderful, very kind, thoughtful, and always responded to our messages quickly. We especially appreciated how helpful and accommodating they were throughout our stay.

The only minor inconvenience was the layout. One bathroom is located on the other side of the toilet, so when travelling with multiple families, we occasionally couldn’t access that part of the house if the toilet was occupied or locked. We had to walk outside and enter through the sliding door instead. We also travelled with a dog, and while the backyard is lovely, it was less practical during winter because it became quite muddy, so we didn’t end up using it very much. We also initially thought there weren’t enough dining chairs, but later discovered the extra chairs were stored in one of the bedrooms

Great location and beautiful views and garden area. All amenities provided for a very comfortable stay.

The house was nicely set up.

We had a few issues with the property over our stay. The yard was incredibly overgrown and one of the gates into the yard opened to a steep slope that had no steps or walk way. The retaining wall at fire pit area was wobbly and unstable. The fire pit was also very close to the fence which separated the yard from a brush filled paddock, which felt like a bit of a fire hazard so we did not use the fire pit on our stay. The tiles at the pizza oven/ entrance we loose and uneven, I tripped on them myself a few times. The blind on the balcony was broken and blocking the view as well as making a lot of noise in the wind.
