The location was perfect for a Horton Plains hike. The staff were helpful, responsive and kind. The bed was big and the room had almost everything we needed, including blankets, a kettle, etc. Food was prepared very quickly (there had been prep cooking ahead, with pre-cooked chicken, etc.).

It would have been better to have a mini fridge in the room, and to have towels in the bathroom when we arrived (we asked for towels and received them quickly). While the room was great, the bathroom space / facilities could be improved a bit.

Staff were friendly but communication in English was a little difficult. They were all very helpful and doing their best to help. Good food and service. Great views from the restaurant.

Beds and sheets felt old. Electricity failed multiple times throughout the night and affected the morning hot water. But this seemed to be the whole village.
