A Truly Special Stay,More Than Just a Place to Stay ❤️ We originally booked Ambewela Rangers Cottage for just two nights, but we ended up extending our stay for more than a week and honestly, we didn’t want to leave! 🥹❤️ Mafaz and his wife Ruhee are such warm, friendly, and genuinely kind people. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel so welcome and comfortable. What started as a simple stay slowly turned into feeling like we were staying with family and good friends. The villa is cozy, peaceful, and has that special homely feeling that makes you want to stay longer.And the food… absolutely delicious! 🍲❤️ Everything they prepared for us was so tasty and made with so much care. We truly enjoyed every meal. The location is also fantastic. It’s very convenient for visiting the Ambewela Farm, Highland Farm, Horton Plains, and the nearby train station. They can also help arrange hiking tours and other experiences. We were even lucky enough to enjoy a lovely boat ride with them, which became one of our favourite memories from the trip. 🥰 What made our stay truly unforgettable, though, was the kindness and hospitality of Mafaz and Ruhee. They went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful time, and by the end of our stay, they genuinely felt like family friends rather than just our hosts. Thank you so much, Mafaz and Ruhee, for making our time in Ambewela so special. ❤️ We came for two nights and left with beautiful memories, full hearts, and new friends. We will definitely come back again! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a cozy, peaceful, homely stay with wonderful hospitality. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

They welcomed us well. They were young couple. We arrived there after a long drive. The welcome milk coffee made us feel refreshed. The bed was more comfortable during the cood night. Their meals also tasty. As a Srilankan, I felt meal.prices were bit higher, but when compaired with other places, it is fair. wish them all the success. Happy to stay there.

Außergewöhnliche Lage mit Blick auf die Zugstrecke. Die Gastgeber haben uns sehr herzlich empfangen und wir haben uns wie zuhause gefühlt. Das Zimmer hat ein wunderschönes Fenster mit Ausblick in dem man sitzen kann. Wir haben super leckeres selbst ausgesuchtes Essen gekocht bekommen zum Mittagessen und Abendessen (es gibt auch Frühstück). Wir haben mit dem Gastgeber eine schöne Wanderung gemacht zu einem Aussichtspunkt und zu dem längsten Eisenbahntunnel Sri Lankas. Wir wurden kostenlos mit dem Auto zum Bahnhof gebracht und sie haben uns geholfen die richtigen Tickets zu kaufen.

Die Matratzen könnten bequemer, Haus ist hellhörig

Freundliche Besitzer, ich wurde am Bahnhof abgeholt, da es schon Nacht war. Nachtessen im Haus.

Die Sauberkeit lässt zu wünschen übrig.
