Beautiful location at approx 1500 m above sea level. Calm, peaceful and literally in middle of nature. We were picked up from the main road in a 4*4. Normal cars can not go up (separate parking arranged) and that was the start of our remote experience, exactly what we needed. I and my two kids had a great time here relaxing in nature and breaking our journey from North to South. Meals were really good and staff were exceptional. We were really well looked after and also had a trip to the waterfall inside the property. Lot of birds and waking up listening to the melody and orchestra of so many birds was something I had missed in years, Cannot thank you enough to the staff for taking care of us. Beautiful place for star gazing and milky way on a clear night.

We had a wonderful stay and couldn’t be happier with our experience! The location is absolutely superb; situated and surrounded by beautiful mountains, which created a stunning and peaceful stay for our entire trip, enhanced by the soothing sound of the wind. The food was amazing throughout our stay. Chef Madushanka is incredibly talented who made excellent food. The meals were consistently outstanding. Kiru was an excellent host, and gave us an amazing service and took great care of us during our entire stay. Their attentive service really made us feel at home and well looked after. Chalitha was also a very nice guide who took us for a hike. Everything came together beautifully, and the overall experience was fantastic. We highly recommend this place and would definitely return! Thank you to the whole team. ❤️

The property is very new. The views are stunning and great for wildlife sightings - we saw a pair of black eagles and even saw a peacock dancing for its mate. The plunge pool in Adisham suite was a nice refresher after a hot day. The staff are lovely and helpful and couldn't do do more for you. The Sri Lankan dinner was outstanding.

The road into the property is a bit edgy and you can't drive there with a normal car or even a normal 4-wheel drive. The hotel has a jeep and they come and collect you from the major road but the journey is bumpy for 15 mins each way. The Villa is new but not thought through. For example - Adisham Suite and the one across from it aren't very well ventilated when built - they have condensation build up on the bathroom's glass ceiling and then it drips back down when one is in the shower. The property is new now but with time, mould will occur. Being in the hill country, the power goes out, the wifi drops out, and the water doesn't heat up, the food options and offerings beyond the amazing Sri Lankan Dinner option is limited and not great. A complimentary afternoon tea included chicken nuggets and very poor sandwiches, a dry buttercake, and generally wasn't very appealing. The Villa pool is tiny and has no privacy. The Villa and Adisham suite do not have aircon and become hot greenhouses with the evening sun and the fan is insufficient to cool the room. There is an espresso machine but no milk. Snacks are limited. Wine offering is limited.
