Very clean, nicely decorated, very comfortable and I had everything I needed for my three day stay.
The property was great but there was poor response with the staff about the key and we were trapped into our room until 12:00 AM.

The bed was fine. The sofa bed had a soiled mattress cover. No sheets for the sofa bed except for a dirty duvet in the linen closet. The kitchen was acceptable. The bath was nice. The decor, 30 years old. The patio was ok but the table was filthy. It is in a visibly family-oriented Latino neighborhood. Nice people and good Mexican food everywhere. The smell in the room was distinctly stale and moldy due to the age and location of the room. We did feel safe in the 'hood! Close to MTA station.
Deceptive booking.com description, listed as a VRBO. White towels are dingy yellow and the pillows smelled, but nice selection of flat to filled pillows. Spend extra to fly into LaGuardia for cheaper and easier access. JFK is far away!
