Kliphuijs Richmond

We stopped on our drive to Cape Town for a stop over. The place is a creative paradise. The room we stayed in was beautiful with many unique artefacts/art. There was a nice big stoep wrapped around the building that was beautifully laid out. There was an amazing pottery and craft studio that made unique beautiful pieces, with local artists and locally sourced materials. The dining room was equally amazing with a nice warm fireplace as it was quite cold that day. Food was great and plating was creative. The staff were exceptional. They put a blanket on our windscreen overnight as everything was frosted over in the morning. Phillip was an attentive and informative host. I wished I could have stayed longer

Baie dankie aan die personeel vir julle gasvryheid en uitstaande diens. Kliphuijs self is ń belewenis en om elke hoek en draai wag daar ń verassing. Die plek is kunstig en stylvol versier met alles wat ek al onbruikbaar gevind het. Nashville, mag God se goedheid en guns jou altyd bybly

This venue completely exceeded our expectations. It is beautifully appointed, spacious, an absolute gem in the greater Karoo, with such friendly staff - exceptional accommodation.

We loved everything!

An experience! Will be back! Best accomodation and food we had in years.
