Villas Altos de Lanzarote

We stayed in villa 5A it had a view of the mountains and the sea and honestly it was amazing… The pool area was great and gave us lots of space to enjoy sitting and eating outside comfortably - you aren’t overlooked by other villas which was also really fab😊 The inside was great and gave us everything we needed for our stay lots of space for sitting inside and the TV was set up with Netflix etc so the kids could have 1/2 an hour out the sun before going out on the evening , we are a family of 4 so the villa was a little big for us but we were not complaining at the choice of rooms we had. The kitchen gave us everything we needed to make breakfast and lunches although could benefit from a little bit of TLC to spruce up the work surface and cupboard doors etc… The location is a little far to walk to the marina everyday but the ferry port was approx 35 minutes and the taxis were freely available so you wouldn’t struggle to get one even in August the longest we waited was 10 minutes - a car would be advisable for getting about in the day especially for food shopping and exploring although there are small basic shops a few minutes walk away that will enable you to get water and if you are early enough the fresh baked croissants and bread ☺️ The hosts were super quick to respond before and during our stay which put our minds at rest given this was our first non packages holiday ☺️

Minor issues that is feedback - * No full length mirrors in any rooms or an area to sit to do hair/make up outside the bathroom… it was a bit tricky to navigate with the sink set up * The door was a little tricky to open we struggled the first night - as we were late getting to the villa due to flight times it was dark a note on this would be handy we didn’t want to break the key in the door but you do have to use a bit of force to open it - other villas around us had the same issue also * When we got there the pool towels smelt awful we had to move them outside as they had a sick smell - we had our own pool towels so didn’t contact the host however had we not I would have had to ask for them to be changed which I’m sure would have been fine. * The towels in the bathroom were your towels for the holiday - we were a small party for a big villa so had the opportunity to use the towels from the rooms we weren’t using however for 10 days it would have been nice for a towel change mid way Very minor issues overall and hasn’t impacted the great stay and score on this review.

Spacious living space with four good sized bedrooms. Beds very comfortable. Well equipped kitchen and amazing pool. They even supplied pool towels and a well recieved welcome pack to get us through to the next day after a late flight.

There was nothing we didnt like

Property was very nice, modern and exceptionally clean.

Huge building work project adjacent- part of the same complex. New villas being built. Nowhere near complete. The owners had several opportunities to inform us prior to arrival but didn’t.& that is unforgivable. You would be unable to sit by the pool or have doors open during building hours- daytime really! Should really have U.K. tv channels as an option to watch in the evening or in bad weather. You tube and Netflix isn’t an option for everyone.
