Majesticlara Lisbon Guest House

The facility is in a noisy but very lively and well-connected part of Lisbon. If you want to feel a bit like living rather than just visiting, this is a good place. The accommodation is an apartment with four rooms and two bathrooms, a charming, spacious living room, and a well-equipped kitchen. The bathrooms are clean. In one, it wasn´t possible to lock the door, but otherwise I always had access to a bathroom when I needed it. There are many supermarkets around, and a beautiful park, which was a lifesaver in the heat and the very heavy traffic in the area. I chose it because it was within walking distance of where I had meetings. Communication with the owner was good. The room was clean with a nice view of a beautiful street.

My room was small; if you have a lot of luggage, it won´t fit in there. If I wanted to reach the window, I had to walk sideways. Also, in bathrooms, there is no place to put your stuff. I din´t quite understand the towels policy. I found one towel when I arrived, but I expected two (one for the face, one for the body and hands). However, I came across the cleaning staff a couple of times, and they always gave me fresh towels. I didn´t mind climbing three floors, but I realized when I got there that I hadn't noticed that this would be necessary when booking.

Getting used to no physical contact with host. Partly my problem as my eSIM didn’t work.

The apartment is near the airport and easily reachable with public transport. The accomodation is located near the city center although a ride by bike or public transport is needed. There is free usage of the washing machine. The room was clean and luagge storage was available before checking in.

Mold in the shower, the kitchen was a bit chaotic and not really clean (pots and kettle had stains, our host was so kind to take care of it), very little space to hang up the laundry, there should be a laundry rack but we did not find it, the soap was empty when we arrived but they filled it up very fast after we told them and also cleaned the kitchen.
