Great location, friendly staff. Would recommend.

Location close to skiing - you can walk there. Genuine and personable waiter. Lovely breakfast with fresh ingredients. They helped us to coordinate laundry.

No sound insulation at all. You can hear the band playing for hours, which is in the festive spirit, but you can also hear any furniture being moved, etc. It‘s fine for some people, but be prepared if you’re a light sleeper. Bathroom could be updated, though it was functional. It would be nice to have another chair if the sofa is being used to sleep on. An actual coffee machine in the room would be handy, though the coffee at breakfast was good and strong.

Beautiful hotel but the food did not live up to the description.

We felt the food was overrated. Expensive for small portions. I had moldy blueberries one morning and lettuce in a salad that seemed like it had sat in the dressing for a while, plus a lot of lettuce to a small amount of trout.

The hotel and it’s athmosphere exceeded our expectations

Beautiful hotel, delicious breakfast with best apple juice ever, very polite and helpful host and all the hotel service. Very clean and comfortable rooms. The location was most convenient, in the center of Kranjska with peace and quiet though. We will come back for sure.

A cosy hotel with super-friendly staff and very convenient central location + their restaurant is amazing, every dish exceeded expectations!

Great hotel in the center of Kranjska Gora, with great and friendly staff! The restaurant and food is really great, it's very clear that it was renewed recently. The staff is helpful and kind. Wine selection is great.

Best breakfast in town!

Smack in the centre of the old town, you’ll find Pino Alpino. Super friendly and helpful staff serving, what could be, the best breakfast in Kranjska Gora. Al-a-carte choices of eggs, avocado toast, home made granola, fruit, barrister cappuccinos… it goes on, eat as much as you like (can). The rooms are basic and could do with a refresh but had everything you need, albeit no air-con, which was a shame.

no air-con and not super sound proofed, but for the price and location, these are minor issues.

Wonderful hotel, excellent food!

Wonderful hotel in the center of the old town and with direct access to hiking, cycling etc. Parking at the spot. Food was absolutely delicious and the breakfast was way above any expectations! Staff super kind and helpful. They made arrangements for bike rentals for us. We will definitely return!

Incredible hospitality, super friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were spotless and exuded warmth, beautiful decor. And great food, both breakfast and dinner. Shout-out to Lucia - thanks for the tips on where to go and where not to go! Made the experience so much better. Would definitely be looking to come back to this one.

Pino Alpino, excellent hotel

My wife and I were staying in the hotel for 4 nights. When we arrived, the hotel owner Mr Andrej personally escorted us to our room. He offered us help with anything during our stay. He offered where to rent bikes, what to visit,... All info that we asked about was spot on. He even made a call to stand owner so that we can buy cheese before he opens a stand. All in all, Mr Andrej was very nice and very friendly. And above all, he was very professional. The room maid, miss Marijana was also very friendly and accommodated all of our requests. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. And everyone was very professional. The hotel is a small hotel, less than 10 rooms and we liked that. The whole atmosphere was very nice, quiet and warm. Hotel has excellent menu and 2 young and upcoming chefs. This is the best place for fine dining and a great wine in Kranjska Gora and around. When we will go to Kranjska Gora again, Pino Alpino is the only place that we will be staying at. We fully recommend hotel Pino Alpino.

Very nice hotel with friendly staff ! Perfect location and also a very nice restraurant , we had 2 meals in the hotel and they were great.
