A lovely homey and nicely designed hotel with amazing breakfast and kind hosts

I loved the delicious and varied breakfast, including little local specialities table. I found the staff and managers kind and helpful. Very central location, right next to a great pizza place and an excellent museum you shouldn’t miss. Comfy bed and good shower.

I was a bit warm at night but it was fine with the window open.

Perfect stay

Hotel Vandot is perfectly tucked into the heart of Kranjska Gora, making it a peaceful and charming base for exploring the town and surrounding mountains. The hotel is small and very quiet, which created a pleasantly intimate atmosphere throughout our stay. Breakfast was hearty and tasty. The staff were kind, welcoming, and ready to help—making the experience feel genuinely warm.

Wow, this property is beautiful, in an idyllic setting, immaculately clean, delicious breakfast and such helpful staff, nothing was too much trouble and lots of great advice on where to visit. We had a double room and an apartment for our family and nobody wanted to leave. Thank you

Great stay! Delicious breakfast and staff and owner were friendly.

Breakfast was delicious! Room was clean and the fans helped at night. The shower was new and clean with good water pressure. Location of the hotel was perfect. Close to restaurant’s and close to e-bike rentals. Lake Jasna was a short drive away.

The shower could use some wire shelves to put soap, shampoo and conditioner. Face cloths in the bathroom would be nice. An extra stand for luggage would be nice.

Superb

Very cozy Hotel in the center of Kranjska Gora. It was clean and we had a nice view of the mountains from our bed. Breakfast was also very delicious and the service is superfriendly. You have everything around in walking distance (parking, supermarket, restaurants, shops etc.). Totally recommend this place.

Wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Vandot. The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was a very extended buffet and made with very much love. The staff was very kind and always happy to help.

Fairytale winter holiday in Kranskja Gora

We stayed on the family room/loft apartment, which is really nice. Modern and warm. Very friendly staff. A few steps from the old square with the most picturesque church/ winter village. The parking spot for the family room right next to the ski storage space.

It was too far to walk to the slopes for our two young kids. However easy to go there by car.

Beautiful hotel with superb location, very comfy bed, clean and very nice stuff.

No trash bin in hotel room so if you have anything what you don’t need, you need to dump it out side of hotel by your self. Hotel has rules, one of the ruls is to not bring any food in hotel. They did not chek us when we bring rest of dinner with us in room but this rule make us unpleasant. We staid in room #2 and we heared walking above us every day. Basically this is not soundproof room, you should pick other hotel if you need to rest or just pick the room on secon level. ☺️ Kids maked that noise, so maybe this will happen at any other hotel…. Overall this is very good hotel, but not exceptional.

Charming apartment but dictatorial owners who didn't understand customer service.

We liked the view, and the design and furniture and fittings/ style of this apartment. It was a quaint hotel

We had a TERRIBLE experience with the hotel owner / manager, and had fuel stolen from our vehicle whilst it was parked next to it. We discovered in the morning that this hotel had a 10am checkout (unlike all the other hotels we'd stayed in in Europe on this trip who ALL had 11am, and worse, as soon as it was 10am, we were harrangued at first by the cleaners and secondly by the owner manager within 10 minutes after 10am to leave the room. Given that we arrived at only 9pm the night before, we were astounded at this harrassment. When we communicated our surprise because we didn't know about this unique and early check out time, the owner was simply unsympathetic and ordered us to leave. When I asked if she could be flexible (since she was the owner), she vehemently told me 'these are the rules'. Such an unpleasant interaction which ruined our stay in this lovely village. Adding that we had a bad experience with our petrol being stolen by being syphoned from our tank whilst it was parked right next to the hotel. We also paid 180 euros for this room, without any breakfast, but everything else in Kransky Gora was way cheaper in comparison and so we believe that this hotel was way too overpriced.

Breakfast was excellent and sourced locally. Cozy and comfortable stay with everything you need. You couldn't have a better central location in Kranjska Gora. Close to restaurants, town, and walkable to skiing.

Absolutely not child friendly

Location is great, parking is a bit complicated. Breakfast range is very limited especially for vegetarians or vegans.

Charging a one year old baby who slept in our bed with an extra 140 euros for 4 nights! Explanation is ridiculous, even booking.com customer service didn't see such high extra fee for a baby. Friendly approach for correction was rejected by the owner.
