Casa di Grimpili

We stayed at Casa di Grimpili for a week (6 adults and 4 kids). It was truly amazing! It’s not always that reality exceeds expectations but in this case it did!The villa itself is wonderful (even better than in the pictures)! Really nice bedrooms with their own bathroom. Fantastic outdoor space and a really nice pool! On top of that, the hosts are the most friendly family you can think of. We received such a warm welcome and they were very helpful during our whole stay. Would love to come back!

I’m not usually one to remember to write reviews but I could not wait to with this place . On arrival we were greeted by costas and his family with a traditional home cooked meal which was absolutely delicious the fridges were stocked with ample water wine beer and juice also lots of oranges tomatoes avocado’s and potatoes at our disposal . It honestly all felt to good to be true it was totally insane hospitality. They went out of there way the whole trip sending us lots of recommendations for places to go restaurants to go to etc . During our stay we had a birthday and they dropped off some traditional cakes which was a lovely touch and they were sooo nice . We had an issue on one occasion on the trip and someone was straight up to sort it no trouble at all . The beds were so comfortable and aircon was perfect I honestly haven’t slept that well in so long . It was great to have a washing machine to use as well . The area is quiet compared to chania but we don’t mind that as we took a trip there for the day we took a taxi which is quite pricey but just down the road you can get a bus there . I will say the villa is on a very steep hill down to the shop we did do it most days but coming back up if you have mobility issues would be impossible but the local taxi people were so nice and friendly they were situated just across from the Synka shop and we paid around 6 euros up the hill if we had shopping bags which was well worth it . The beach and restaurants are about 15 minutes walk down to and they have ample sunbeds it was a lovely area . We also went to a waterpark around 3 minutes away which was a great day out it was fairly quiet so you didn’t have to queue for slides and lots of beds with music and a bar with food and drinks . When we left they gave us their olive oil to take home it was delicious. We had 8 adults and 2 young children and we didn’t at all feel on top of each other everyone had their own space when needed .

Super vriendelijke eigenaars. Verse producten aanwezig, alles was super netjes en proper. Wij verbleven hier met 8 mensen en hebben hier een top vakantie beleefd. Wij zouden Casa Di Grimpili aanraden aan iedereen. Je voelt je hier direct thuis.

Alles was top.

Prachtige accomodatie met een heerlijk zwembad. Gerund daar een enorm gastvrije en behulpzame familie.

Wij hadden huur auto's waardoor vervoer heel prettig was. Voor deze locatie is het raadzaam een auto te hebben. Niet zover vanwege de afstand naar Kolymvari maar meer omdat het prachtig wat hoger gelegen is. Het bovenste teras biedt dan ook een heel mooi uitzicht.
