Lovely rooms but far too expensive

The room was spotlessly clean and very nice and location was perfect. Vew was beautiful

far too expensive for just a bed for the night. Only we had no choice we would never had chosen there because of the price.

It was warm, large bedroom

The bed was extremely uncomfortable, 2 single beds pushed together both single mattresses had springs coming through so we had to lie on top of the actual quilt to stop them digging in. Mould in the bathroom and the shower head kept falling off. Fire doors had gaps all the way around There is obviously work been done on the property as lots of loose wires being fed through ceilings.

Great location but room is a bit small and bathroom needs updating.

Location was great with free parking on the road.

The room is a little small and bathroom is in desperate need of renovation. Moreover, we had the room all the way in the back of the building which meant lots of stairs and lots of doors to open (not convenient with luggage). Elevator did not work.

Nothing. It did not look at all like the pictures.

The mattress was so bad the springs were sticking up through it and I hardly slept all night. Absolutely terrible. There was no sign of anyone when we arrived and when someone eventually showed up , unfortunately he was non verbal so couldn’t communicate anything to us, or we couldn’t ask him anything.

Perfect to lay your head down for a very comfortable sleep

I absolutely DON’T recommend this place.

The room was freezing cold, coming from the bathroom (even when the door was closed, it was coming out to the room), which made it absolutely impossible to be used. The fire alarm went off at night time (for no reason) and it took a call from me, so the staff turned it off then. + we were able to hear the conversations CLEARLY from the room which was in front of ours. After that I just called them again saying that I don’t wanna stay there anymore and I would like to get a refund, they were so nice on the phone and agreed for the refund (even asked for my bank details). Then a few days later I texted them to ask what happened and their answer was that they checked the room after we left and there was nothing wrong according to them. I answered with a huge polite message explaining why I disagree and I never got an answer back. Then I contacted booking.com, for weeks nothing happened until I texted them back, then their answer was that they tried to contact this place, but they never answered them, that’s why they send me a voucher for 21.10 pounds (I PAYED 90 for the room 🙂). I absolutely don’t recommend that place, especially if you’re going with your partner, there is no privacy even (but that was the smallest issue) .

Wouldnt go back.

Place was not clean, we arrived and there was renovations taking place which we did not no, the lift was not working some parts off the stairs cordoned off, a lot off dust in the room toothbrush and straw found lying on the floor, fridge wasn’t cleaned as the water was froze in it. Room just wasn’t cleared throughly before we arrived as pillow still lying down the back off the bed!!

convenient location

too hot ! no window .just skylights which couldn’t be opened. we had very noisy party staying and they woke us at 2.30 am for hours. No reception ! All a bit strange and basic.

Clean, good location

Don’t stay here. My Auntie and Uncle were visiting from England and were left with no heating (in minus temperatures) or electricity. When they arrived there was no heat at all, it was colder in the room than it was outside, which is an absolute disgrace given the fact it is minus degrees outside. They approached the male on the reception desk when they arrived and asked him to put the heat on and he said he would but this did not happen. Had to sleep in hats and coats. Next day went out for a walk and came back to still no heat and if that’s not bad enough, no electricity either and there was no one around to contact regarding it. The electricity remained off until they left the following morning. They had to come and stay with me on the second night as it was that cold & they couldn’t even take a shower! Reported to manager or owner, whoever it is who is denying the fact that there was no heating or electricity. Horrendous conditions and service. No ownership from management. AVOID - Stay in the Whistledown or Lough & Quay instead.
