About this apartment rental

Split over two floors, this refurbished grade II-listed Cotswold cottage has plenty of space to sleep up to five guests (six including an infant) across its three beautiful bedrooms. Your hosts have done an excellent job of blending that quintessential cottage charm with contemporary touches to create a gorgeous home from home. On the ground floor, you'll find a heated flagstone floor that leads through to the kitchen, equipped with everything an ambitious home cook might need. There's also a solid oak dining table where you can gather to enjoy sociable mealtimes, a convenient utility area, plus an adjacent shower room. Upstairs, there's an inviting sitting room with comfortable seating and a gas fireplace that's perfect for unwinding in front of after long wintry walks. Make the most of the light-filled conservatory on sunny days, with direct access to the back garden when it's warm out. The bedrooms are no less well presented, with exposed wooden beams and floral decor that's set to soothe you before bed. They enjoy access to the stunning master bathroom, complete with a luxurious rolltop bath and yet more heated flagstone flooring. Rambling fans will love the WAS Way – this ambitious eleven-mile-long circular route offers a breathtaking introduction to the natural beauty of the Five Valleys. A mile away is the vibrant market town of Stroud, where you can sample popular country pubs, browse independent boutiques, and seek out the finest local ingredients at the multi-award-winning Farmers' Market (hosted every Saturday). If you fancy venturing further afield, you're within a ten-minute drive of the ever-popular towns of Nailsworth and Minchinhampton and twenty-five minutes from Cirencester. Home truths: * Both front and back gardens are separately enclosed * There are two small ponds in the front garden that are protected by steel mesh * You're welcome to store bikes in the shed to the side of the cottage *Off-street parking is available for up to three cars * Child-friendly amenities such as a cot, stairgate and highchair are available upon request * A starter supply of wood is provided for the stove * The property has a steep, narrow staircase with low ceiling height at the bottom of the stairs * The bedrooms and main living areas are on the first floor, with direct access to the back garden * The dining table doubles as a laptop-friendly workspace if needed * Access to the property is via a private entrance
