Fairly disappointing compared to other self catering apartments we stayed in.

The location was great, it was a quiet area and it was close to the shops.

I just feel we got the bare minimum for what we paid for, the beds was uncomfortable, we only had one pillow each, there was no hand towel in the bathroom so we had to use the dish cloth, there was not enough toilet paper so we had to buy some, we could not use the main slower so we had to use the small hand shower, one of the pillows had a stain on it, so in general the whole apartment just looks as though its been put together without putting any thought into it and it looks was very poorly maintained.

Great quiet location only 2 minutes' walk from nice shops, bars and restaurants. There's even an M & S food hall! Ten minute drive to the beach. TV in the lounge only, which we liked. TV set up so you can login to your own accounts and use online services. Nice old converted building. Oven worked well.

Apartment lacks any homely touches like books, games and cards, prints on the walls. There was only one pillow per person, no hand towels and no wine glasses. Also no bedside lamps. The heating is very slow to have any impact. It was 15.5 degrees in the property when we arrived and took a long time to warm to 18. We also weren't sent the key code in advance. I telephoned for it on arrival which, whilst the phone was answered immediately, took some time for the owners to find. They were friendly and apologetic but I was glad it had stopped raining! Shower was hard to get a consistent warm temperature from, took lots of adjusting but water flow OK. No hairdryer. Suited us for a weekend uni visit as we were out a lot of the time but lacks the simple touches that could make it considerably better.

The window looks out onto trees, giving this flat a peaceful feel. We enjoyed staying there. It is a 5 minute walk to the Westbourne shops, which has a great high street. It was very clean and well equipped. The management company was responsive and helped us when we requested assistance.

There's quite a lot of stairs, which was fine fine for us, but could be difficult for anyone with mobility issues. I'd recommend the kitchen dustbin be housed in a cupboard.

Nice flat but little care or attention to making it comfortable unfortunately

Good location and nice flat

One of the mattresses on the bunk bed was terrible- poor daughter hardly slept. Turned out the other mattress had been replaced but the awful one was left as well

Scruffy and poorly maintained

Washer dryer was nice, the location of the house was close to the beach

No thermostatic valve on shower, bunk beds where very uncomfortable, stairwell smelt damp, crap paint job, some electrical sockets where moving, wooden cutting board, TV was difficult, kitchen worktop was MANKY that was sliced and peeling round the sink
