Great place to stay for a few days away, perfect for Hepworth and Yorkshire Sculpture Park.

The apartment is in a good location for city centre and walking to the Hepworth gallery. We liked the place itself, a lovely comfortable place to stay. It was clean, nicely furnished we liked the plants and artwork all very much to our taste. The bed was really comfortable and the bedding was high quality. There’s no window in the bedroom but that was fine for a couple of days. It was equipped with everything we needed. Pawel was a great host, always replied to messages quickly. The parking was a bonus, not on site but very close and felt secure. If you like art it’s great for the Hepworth, Yorkshire Sculpture Part and the Art House. About 8 miles from Leeds where we were visiting family. We would stay again.

Amazing relaxing clean inviting

The main property itself was a lovely old chapel and was stunning And the apartment was absolutely amazing relaxing and had everything you needed to make your stay comfortable and relaxing We had a little card and some cakes left for us from the hosts And we said we would definitely go back again 2 minutes from the town centre

Modern apartment nestled inside a classic chapel

This beautifully laid out and decorated apartment is really quite unique in being inside an old chappel. The layout and decor are very modern but also classy and quirky. We loved the lounge with its day bed and loads of natural light. It has huge beautiful original windows as a stunning feature visible behind the more modern double glazed version for warmth. There's a well equipped kitchen and bathroom. The location is great for easy travel. We used it for Leeds Festival as we had a day ticket for the Sat. It's just a short walk to the train station and was a short taxi ride back from Leeds centre that night.

Nothing. I'd maybe add a nice coffee machine as I think it would fit well in such a plush setting.

Wonderful property

Host was fantastic, clear instructions for arrival, parking and accessing the property. It was a fabulous property with beautiful windows and a lovely charm to it. It is so close to the town centre so perfect for shops and restaurants and bars. Parking is just behind, easily accessed, and then car park opposite has electric vehicle charging, which was handy. It is a 2 min walk from a small Morrisons for essentials, and a larger sainsbury is just a few minutes drive away. It was clean and tidy and had everything we needed. I will definitely be earmarking this for future stays. Thank you for having us.

What a gem, such luxury in an apartment

Liked everything about this downstairs apartment, even our Wakefield relatives asked for booking information for any friends staying. Modern airy and light-filled place with so many thoughtful things such as extra blankets, breakfast cereal, ground coffee and plunger, teas, bottle of wine, Netflix upstairs in mezzanine lounge, good sized bath, houseplants. Great value for less than $AUD200 per night.

Just be aware you can’t exit both sides of double bed (it’s against the wall). The pillows in downstairs bedroom are due for replacement (a bit hardened) but at least we had two each which is more than we can say for the rest of our Europe holiday.

Exceptional and probably the best place I have ever stayed.

This was an amazing find. Modern. Extremely clean. Everything I needed was there. Central too and close to amenities. A lovely note was left by the owners with a complimentary bottle of wine on arrival. Such a nice touch. Everything modern and exceptional value for money. A little gem. I felt so at home and the attention to detail was amazing. I slept in the upstairs room and the bed was so comfortable. Really cosy tucked away too and so peaceful and quiet. I would highly recommend this apartment and will definitely be back when I next travel to Wakefield. I actually didn’t want to leave and go home even though I was travelling on business!

Really enjoyed our stay in such a unique apartment, host made us feel vey welcome.

Central location, unique accommodation in old chapel, close to restaurants, shopping and Hepworth Gallery. The apartment was really clean, plenty of fresh towels, the kitchen has all the utensils needed to prepare a meal. Comfortable reception room which was good to relax in.

Mattress and pillows not very comfortable. A mattress topper and feather pillows would do the trick.

Lovely apartment

Lovely spacious apartment, really handy for Wakefield City centre. Pawel, the host, was very helpful, messaging beforehand with lots of useful information, and booking a car parking space in the car park behind the accommodation. The apartment is in a converted 19th century Chapel, with stained glass windows and even the old font in the foyer. The apartment was large, 2 bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and seating area, and very tastefully decorated. The kitchen was well equipped, oven, microwave and toaster. Lots of tea, coffee and breakfast cereal. All in all, it was a lovely stay, highly recommend.

Brilliant location, wonderful modern flat, stunning setting, extremely comfortable.

Extremely well equipped property. Superb array of cooking facilities. Wonderful under floor heating made the property so cosy. Plenty of space, loads of storage and bathroom finished to high standard. Wonderful welcome of a bottle of wine and pint of milk, lovely to see a few essentials in the cupboard to get you through the first stages there.

Comfortable, stylish living area. well equipped kitchen. Great location - close to shops and restaurants. Great communication with Pawel. Good value for money. Easy parking.

Bedrooms are both internal so no windows. Bedroom downstairs needs a new / better mattress. Shower door needs mending. echoey building so you do get some noise from neighbours.

Perfect place for us to visit our family!!!

This very unique and special Appartment is located so perfectly in Wakefield, it can’t be better to go to town for shopping or dinner. The hosts are so helpful and organized, reply quickly and with the parking next to the flat it’s perfect. They left milk, coffee, wine, cookies…..for us, which was very sweet and helpful. Thanks once more for trying to make our stay to comfortable!!! We come back for our next family visit in Wakefield!!!

Nice apartment in central location

Location was excellent, parking was hasslefree, even with a big VW minibus. Nicely decorated duplex apartment with special atmosphere, great communication with host.
