Abysmal

Poor communication with host, had to argue for key code as the email hadn't come through. Tv only works if you have a netflix account. Not clean at all, kitchen food debris, unclean dishes, reminents of food, cash coins in sugar etc walls all heavily marked, wires hanging out of ceiling, broken lights in bedroom and previous renters stuff in drawers. Pubic hair in shower. Asked for an invoice multiple times and not been provided. Would not book this again

The house was very well-located for us and had everything we needed. With two double bedrooms and two bathrooms it was perfect for two friends travelling together. The host was very helpful, allowing me to park up early and they provided milk, bread, coffee etc which was very thoughtful.

There was some road noise meaning I woke up earlier than I would have liked!

The property was well equipped and was in the perfect location. The property was light and airy. I loved the amount of windows it had.

Not great

Excellent customer service from Kiran. Toilet was blocked when we arrived, but this issue was dealt with very quickly. Flat was in a good location, close to town. Plenty of hot water and a nice, big bath. Milk, bread, jam, tea bags and coffee were provided on arrival. The lounge was compact, but had enough space for a small dining table & 4 chairs. TV and Wi-fi worked okay. Comfy mattresses in both bedrooms. Fairly quiet inside, despite being next to a busy street.

1. Very poor cleanliness! We had to wash and wipe down everything before using. The chopping board was welded to the counter top with tomato sauce that someone had spilled underneath - looked like it had been like that for a while. Oven was dirty, trays were covered in grease and burnt food. Cups, plates, cutlery and glasses were sticky. 2. Most of the facilities have seen better days. Bedside lights, lounge blinds, shower, dining table, cooker, settee, carpets, bath mats etc. were all outdated, damaged or stained. Pillows were old and lumpy. The whole place looked tired and in dire need of redecoration. 3. One small settee in the lounge/kitchen, so the place doesn’t only has enough seating for 2 guests. No lamps in the lounge - we had to use one of the bedside lights.

Perfect for an overnight stopover for work. Much nicer than staying somewhere with your room only.

Using the lock box was really easy - for arriving and leaving. I love that there is tea and coffee, with fresh milk in the fridge. There was also some cereal and a loaf of bread. Fabulous host.

It's a gorgeous little house to stay in. It looks stunning and it's really light and airy. It was super clean and the communication was first class. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Thanks!

It's worth noting that you only have Netflix on the TV. But you can watch stuff on any device and the WiFi is easy to access.

It was easy to access the keys for the property. The added benefit of some cereal, milk and tea/coffee supplies makes this a great place to stay when visiting our Head Office. Much more comfortable than a hotel and with added privacy too.

wonderful place to stay, one of the best property we've visited

We have enjoyed the property, the place is a bit smaller than i expected, nonetheless, it is warm, bright and cosy, we loved the coffee, tea and bread that left for us, since we didn't have a chance to pop over to the supermarket. the rooms are clean and with lovely decor, everything and more are there. we definitely recommend the property should anyone are staying in wakefield.

Great little house suitable for work or pleasure

Communication from the property manager was excellent and I have no concerns in recommending this property to others. I was happy to stay on my own and felt safe travelling on my own for the first night.

Flat exceeded expectations especially combined kitchen lounge area & upstairs bedroom. Very thoughtful providing basics for breakfast. Bright & airy upstairs.

Unfortunately we requested 3 single beds & only 2 were available on arrival. The third lady cancelled at the last minute so didn’t put us out but could have been a real hassle. Bedside lights top floor seemed broken. Rather short on butter in fridge, only 2 individual portions, where 2 per person would not have appeared quite so stingy. Stairs for an elderly person could be problematic since quite steep, so need to alert those booking.
