Villa On The Hill - Spacious Tropical Panorama

Great location, great facilities. When we had an issue the staff were onto it quickly to fix the issue.

We had a booking for eight nights with five guests. It would have been great to have a ‘clean and refresh’ mid-stay with a change of bed and bathroom linen, tea towels and more loo paper. There were some bathroom flooding issues that were evident but not fixed during our stay. This is a luxury villa stay in a tourism location. A few ‘luxe’ welcoming touches would have been appreciated. Perhaps a guest arrival package could be included, such as wine, cheese or biscuits/chocolates: a small outlay to make guests feel welcomed. The lock-box also needed fixing to ensure it could not be accessed by non-guests.

Great location within easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. Spacious and each bedroom having own ensuite was great.

A couple of suggestions - letting people know there is construction going on next door. Noise from the construction site and some loud tradies each day meant a sleep in wasn’t possible. Stairs to the pool were quite slippery when it rained or were wet so a bit of slip tread or grip paint would be my suggestion. Also very bottom step of the internal stairs could do with lighting - very difficult to gauge in the dark. Deck was lovely but a drop down awning for the late afternoon sun in the deck could be a good addition too.

Very easy to obtain the keys through the mail box. Great idea!. Location was absolutly perfect as we have kids in there 20s and we could all do different things if we wanted to as everything was in walking distance. Loved the layout of the house, and all the comforts of home you have included. We will certainly be returning and recommending you to our friends and family.

The main bedroom on the top floor could do with better air-conditioning. Maybe a small split system. It was rather warm in there at times. The pool and the pool area was also a little dirty. Maybe a broom of blower so the leaves could be sweep away daily. Other than that, may I suggest a first aid kit for the house. My daughter stubbed her toe and cut it open a bit. This was in the evening and we had no access to a chemist till the next day. Anyway we sorted her out, but perhaps a small first aid kit would be handy. Other than that, our stay was absolutly perfect and we can't wait to come back again soon.

The property was clean and spacious. The location very good.

Unfortunately the construction next door was extremely loud from before 7am until approximately 330pm. We were not aware of this at the time of check in. I understand that this is out of the owners control, although I suggest that on booking, informing the guests should be a priority.
