Flagstaff Pavillion - A Lush Subtropical Paradise

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this house in Port Douglas. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The home is beautifully presented, spotless, and incredibly comfortable, with plenty of space to relax and unwind. The location is perfect — peaceful and private, yet so close to everything Port Douglas has to offer. Waking up to the tropical surroundings each morning or straight into Macrossan street was a real highlight and made the stay feel like a true getaway. You can tell a lot of care has gone into this property. It had everything we needed (and more), making it feel like a home away from home, but with that extra holiday-luxury touch. We couldn’t fault a thing and would 100% stay here again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable Port Douglas escape.

The outdoor area doesn’t get a lot of sun so no place to lie on a lounger. Brach is within walking distance though

Almost everything was very good and to a high standard. Great little getaway for the entire family. Lots of space. Plenty of privacy for each room and adequate entertaining space.

The only issue was that the oven didn’t work during our stay. They did arrange to send someone out to look at it but no fix was found. We stayed over Christmas so was a big deal breaker for us and was quite disappointing. Granted that this was quite a unique situation. Everything else was pretty spot on to be fair. Im sure if this wasn’t at Christmas time, the team could have secured a technician to come out and provide a fix.
