I cannot recommend this property — the lack of attention to guests’ comfort was unacceptable.

Before we even entered the room, the bathroom was already flooded, which was unacceptable, and unfortunately the issue remained for the duration of our stay (3 days). While we requested another room, the owners did not offer an alternative, , despite having another room available. but providing only towels and containers to collect the water.

We ordered accomodation for 3 persone but it was prepared only for 2. No reaction to my complains.

perfect stay in Udine

The apartment is situated perfect just around the corner of the centre. That there is a car park in walking distance to the apartment is very comfortable. We stayed on the highest floor and the apartment was a great example of an revitalized old Italien house ... very nice!

Our apartment was located on Via Poscolle, a cobblestone street. If you're a light sleeper, you might hear the sound of cars passing by as the morning traffic starts up.

Great location, Friendly service, Lovely bakery!

The location is fantastic, within easy walking distance of all the Udine has to offer. We found the room comfortable, clean and although slightly on the bijou side for 3 of us, it would be perfect for a couple. Underground secure parking available nearby which is reasonably priced. These are clearly rooms for rent associated with the bakery, rather than a hotel. I don’t know what people were expecting for breakfast, but we really enjoyed high quality coffee and croissant freshly prepared from the bakery. I found this much better than the generic buffet hotel breakfast Anna greeted us warmly and was happy to recommend restaurants and was really helpful. We found the bathroom and shower perfectly fine to use, I don’t really understand why others reported issues with this. Similarly our AirCon worked fine. All in all, a friendly service, good quality room, ideally located and good value for money.

Pleasant stay with few small challenges.

The room was compact and efficiently used of space. At the same time it has the old charm. The minibar was stocked but the price list was not provided. Pleasant Italian breakfast.

The door to the bathroom opened the opposite direction that would be expected which cause tight and uncomfortable entry and exit to the bathroom. The AC was not working properly and it was very slow to adjust.

Location was great, there was a lovely coffee shop downstairs. The property is easy to find and easy to check in even in the middle of the night.

Beautiful retro-rustical hotel in the city center

Beautiful room decoration, comfortable bed, exceptional location. Breakfast very tasty, but maybe in future you should take into consideration that some people don't like croissants, so include some other bakery product instead... Coffee is great, orange juice too. A good thing in the room is a small kitchen where you can prepare coffee, tea or some simple dinner, lunch... There is also enough storage space and everything is hidden behind the retro walls, so the space looks clean and spacious. Bakery is on the ground floor so delicious odours of freshly baked products spread all over the hotel which is a great way to wake up. Parking garage is a 3 minutes walk away from the hotel. It only costs 0,60EUR per hour which is great for a parking in the city center and it's open 0/24.

The TV was out of function and noises from the inside and outside were a bit loud. These are only things that bothered us, but that's not something that made our stay less pleasant.

Nice stay close to the old town. Nicely decorate room. Italien Breakfast with delicious croissant. Ask for a filling with chocolate or pistachio creme. Near by parking. Use Parking Moretti for 2€ per day or look for free street parking on Via Luigi Moretti. Parking Martini is a little bit closer but costs now 12€ per day

The breakfast is not really a breakfast beacuse it is only one coffe and a croissant. For us it was just perfect because we don’t eat in the morning, but for someone who usually eats, it is not enough.

Bad

Very simple. I did not get a room I paid for and which was confirmed to me. I booked a triple room including an extra sofa. Instead I got a double room without the sofa. I got an undressed matrace and no bed sheets instead. I had to spend at least 40 minutes arguing and asking for it. 9pm was simply too lare to look around for another accomodation. Al Palazzetto? Never again.

I was woken up by the lovely smell of the bread made in the cafeteria downstairs. The room was larger than it appears in the pictures. The location was great easy to get around in the old town and everything is close by. The room was nicely decorated everything was fantastic. Highly recommend this place

Very noisy, you have feeling, that walls are made from paper. In the room on second floor you can strongly feel smell of bakery located in the basement. For the breakfast you can get just one coffe and one croissant. The quality of the coffee is below average. The extra bed was broken and folded by itself during use.
