Rent Rooms Saint Peter

The thick walls between the rooms made the place feel like a private apartment, we couldn’t hear other guests at all. The room was very clean and comfortable, with a fridge, kettle, coffee maker, and thoughtful extras like coffee capsules, sweets, and cold water, which were especially welcome after a long journey. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which was a lifesaver in the +40°C heat. The bed was very comfortable, the shower had high-quality, lovely-smelling shower gel, soap and shampoo, and the room was cleaned every day. The bath towels were soft, fluffy, and good quality. The TV worked well, and everything was easy and convenient. The staff were extremely friendly and kindly let us check in an hour early, which we really appreciated. Check-in and check-out were both very easy, with clear instructions. The location is excellent, about a 15-minute walk to the Vatican, 5 minutes to the metro, and 5 minutes to a great and affordable Tigre supermarket with tasty ready-to-eat food. There’s also a lovely café with fresh ice cream just 3 minutes away. The building felt very safe, with a secure entrance and security cameras. Overall, we had a wonderful and very comfortable stay. Everything was great overall, with just a few small things that could be improved. The hair dryer only worked for about 2 minutes before switching off automatically, and then needed around 10–15 minutes to cool down before it could be used again, which made styling the hair a bit difficult. The pedal on the trash bin didn’t open the lid, but this wasn’t a big issue as we simply used the larger bin. There are two shower heads. The larger one worked perfectly, while the smaller one didn’t stay securely in place when the water was running. Again, this was a minor issue and didn’t affect our stay at all.

Excellent location, short distance to Vatican city and metro. Overall quiet apartment although there is some traffic heard in the morning. Very helpful host, nice coffee/tea facility. Nice cafes and restaurants nearby and great local market! Very comfy bed, room cleaned daily. Very pleasant stay.

Unfortunately hair dryer did not work, the toilet flush needed to be pressed few times for the water to stop running and shower heads need replacement - a struggle to switch between handheld and overhead. I would have given 9 or 10/10 if everything was in a good working order.
