The place was cozy.

The smoke detector was hypersensitive.

The location is pretty good if you don't mind walking to the mall. The Mall of Asia is the largest in the Philippines. It's a lot to take in. Just ask people which direction the Globe is if you get lost (like I did on day one). The condos are fairly new and the interior room was far better than the exterior one with 530 am construction noise. The view from the inside is nice and the small patio with two chairs great for my partner, who smokes (yuck). The contact person, after the initial frustration getting ahold of them was helpful. We messaged several times and all my questions were answered. The washing machine was nice to have and I was able to clean sheets and towels though she did offer to once (I declined). Overall, a nice stay.

Some roaches, some other insects but poison under sink. It's the tropics. The TV had little selection other than YouTube so I watch a lot of Filipina Pea and Savvy Expat videos. The beds are not at all comfortable to sit or lie on but there are plenty of pillows to prop myself up with. Security was okay but a little too interested in what the relationship between my partner and I is. We are age gap LGBT. We get stares anyway but there was push back on him signing in as a guest even though he was registered as one. They never seemed to have gotten the information. They even asked him, in Tagalog, what we were to each other. I'm glad he answered "partners." He's generally very shy. I'm used to it, he's not. The "kitchen" was pretty much unusable except the microwave and dishes. The burners were rusted. The hot water was tepid at best. The fridge was okay to have. I didn't try Grab as there are plenty of places to eat nearby. In spite of these things, if I needed to stay in Pasay again, I'd consider staying at the Shell Residences, just inner courtyard.
