Their already-remote check in and entire team service was functional before, they're using really bad bots now so expect a lot of confusing / stupid back and forth for basic questions

Room was nice and well-equipped, bed was huge and very comfortable, location was excellent
The hotel does not comply with Booking.Com policy to communicate through the app's messaging service and so our requests for housekeeping services were not responded to. We had no cleaning for a 13 night stay. The hotel asks you to call or text them which we could not do as international travellers without US phones. There is a QR code you can scan for a "virtual front desk" but that tells you you have to pay for housekeeping services which the info sheet in the room says are complementary.
A few days into our stay we received a text about a noise complaint for moving around furniture at 3am. We were sound asleep at 3am and had definitely not moved around any furniture. (Our first night there, we were awoken by similar noises coming from the roof overhead so we believe that is probably what woke up the neighbouring guests.) If there had been staff onsite they could have checked this out and would have discovered the source of the noise but that did not happen and we were left feeling stressed and unwelcome for the rest of our stay.
