Clean flat

If you are looking for a clean flat close to the university, this one fulfils your need. Easy to reach with tram and train, close to the university (10 min by foot), offering the basic amenities you need before and after joining a busy day outside. There are also many cafés and cheap restaurants in the surroundings for fast food.

It has plenty of worn out furniture spread all over the flat and the floor is noisy. I wouldn't want to spend a lot of time there. But, as said, if your goal is simply to have a clean space to retreat after a long day and leave from the following morning, it will definitely suit your needs.

Large, simple apartment, but with everything you need, 4.5 km from the city center (Grand-Place)

The apartment is big and you have everything at your disposal: private wc, good wifi connection, spacious wardrobe, kitchen with microwaves, oven, sink, stove, and all the necessary utensils for cooking and serving. The hosts are very kind and helpful as well.

There is no TV in the bedroom and the shower is not fixed to the wall, only with a hose, but these are quite tolerable issues.

Disappointing

The price was very good and for me the location near the university was convenient, There is also an ALDI super close by, almost other side of road. The size of the space is good. For a tight budget and a place to lay your head, it's doable because for this price, it is among the most affordable of places of this size, with a separate bedroom, in Brussels.

The condition of the place is run down, it needs renovation or at least a repaint and bit fixing, the bedding and towels are old (but clean), the bathroom was dated, the air was stuffy in the apartment. The kitchen was especially tired. It was very basic and did not feel very clean.

Great value for money

The flat is very spacious, a lot of room for suitcases. The kitchen/living room are also very handy for breakfast in the moring.

The building is a bit old and could do with re-painting in some parts, especially the bathroom which looked quite old.
