Wonderful stay with exceptional hospitality

We had a fantastic time at Play Karma Homestay. The staff is incredibly warm and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. Their kindness and attentiveness made our stay truly special. The rooms are cozy and well-maintained, offering a comfortable retreat. A truly lovely place to stay – highly recommended!

While the bathroom could use a bit of renovation, it didn’t take away from the overall great experience. The genuine hospitality and care from the hosts more than made up for it.

Amazing cozy place! They have a cute cat that hangs around all the time. Peaceful place and comfortable rooms!

The main roads around the place are quite busy and a lot of traffic but that has nothing to do with the property itself.

I’m truly disappointed to leave this review, as it’s my only negative feedback from a 7-day trip in Bali. My aim is to urge the host to improve and to warn potential guests.The homestay is affordable and decently located. The pool and lawn are very clean, and there’s a great coffee shop nearby with an adorable cat.

The address provided didn’t match Grab’s, forcing me to navigate to a nearby “Dog Hotel.” The room was infested with mosquitoes (as noted in prior reviews). I asked staff for mosquito repellent, but they only responded the next day—after I’d been bitten extensively and barely slept. Geckos in the room didn’t help either. No hairdryer was provided, which was inconvenient. Most frustratingly, the 11 AM checkout time is unreasonably early. After a bad night’s sleep due to mosquito bites, I overslept, and while heading to breakfast, the host relentlessly pressured me to check out. Their attitude was rude, service was poor, and they practically rushed us out without so much as a goodbye.

Perfect basic, clean home stay

Clean. Friendly staff. Good air con. Clean towels were given. Nice decor in room. Didn’t look worn. Felt safe. 5 minute walk from main road. Good location.

The bathroom tap didn’t run generously. Had to use the shower to wash my hands which is fine.

Cute cat

So many mosquitoes in the room I couldn’t sleep, had to end my stay early. Woke up with a lizard in my bed. Only one outlet in the entire room + no adapters. Room has 2 beds put together unlike the picture.

The villa was great with really friendly staff and complete package in terms of facilities.

It’s good for value, spacious, has complete facilities, nice pool, great location.

No soaps nor shampoos, the toilet was not working well on the second day) so I had to flush manually (the water wasn’t pumped into the toilet), and there was a little blood from mosquito I think on the bolster sheet.
