Clean, modern, comfortable, taken care of and new. Good location. Good dinner options. 2 bars close by. The view through the room windows is the back and sides of the building. The restaurant reserves the river view.

Breakfasts have been really poor, staff seemed confused and untrained to serve. No espresso coffee or filter coffee, just instantaneous coffee bags. When it is a buffet it was limited to 2 different food options.. We just had breakfast in one of the multiple close by options outside the hotel.

Raas residency appears to be a joke to me. Something is really wrong with the staffs especially with the restaurant staffs. Despite the superb exteriors and interiors, here are the list of confusions created by the hotel that made our 1 night stay at Raas unpleasant. 1. We booked a double bedded room with a sofa cum bed for 3 adults via booking.com. After checking in we were told that they only have a 2 seater sofa and extra charges would be required if we add an extra bed. Later a different room was allotted to us with an extra bed at the same price. The staffs should atleast list the rooms properly in the website. 2. Room service was poor. We have stayed in so many hotels and every hotel would atleast provide us two bottles of mineral water as we generally book double beds or king size bed. To our surprise, this hotel provides only one complementary mineral water bottle per day. The confused room service who were initially reluctant to provide us additional bottle gave us another one for free when we complained about it. 3.The bathroom was hell of a messed up place. The bathing area in the wash room has the towel n clothes hanger over the commode. One bathes and comes out near the commode to wipe 😂😂 Thankfully our towel did not slip into the commode. 4. For dinner we ordered fried rice but after 20 mins the waiter comes and says that boiled rice is over (it was 8:30 PM) and it will take another 20- 30 mins to prepare it. Salute to our patience after the tiring day. 5. Next day in the morning we had our flight so we had explicitly mentioned that there should not be delay in our breakfast and should be served by 8 AM. But our check out was delayed by 45 minutes as the so called complimentary breakfast (poori bhai & coffee) was served super late. We were totally displeased. A 5 star for the room interior and hotel exterior but 1 star for the bathroom layout and restaurant service.
