We loved returning back to the house each day after sightseeing in Donegal. We hope to return.

Everything was wonderful with this stay. It's in a beautiful location. There is an amazing view out the front window. The house is immaculate and very confortable. The owners responsded very quickly to the questions that we had. There is also an amazing beach right around the corner.

Perfect long weekend getaway for families.

Absolutely everything. This is our third time going as a family of 6, we absolutely love this wee house, my children were crying having to leave it as even they had the best time. It is extremely clean comfortable and peaceful. It has everything you need for a few nights away with a bar and a restaurant a 5 min drive away and the most beautiful beach also only a 5 min drive.

Great Spot

Travelled with family of four lads. Well equipped house wit all amenities. Beds very comfortable with loads of extra pillows, bedding and towels. The owner James was very helpful regarding directions to big sand-dune which is visible from the house. When we found it passed a half a day climbing and sliding on it. Lovely beaches around within driving distance. Great location for travelling around west Donegal would recommend it.

Peaceful, comfortable and hassle free stay in beautiful Donegal.

Spotless clean home with well tended garden. Very comfortable homely atmosphere with everything you could need to make yourself at home. House is located is a very safe and peaceful rural location with just a 15 min drive in any direction to a selection of towns. There are two pubs and a shop 3 min drive from the house. Property is spacious modern-traditional rural dwelling with a wonderful kitchen/ living room and an additional sitting room both with an exceptional view. This location is also excellent to enjoy all of west Donegal and the many stunning beaches and areas of natural beauty, cultural and historic interest. Local people are particularly friendly also. Behind the house we enjoyed watching the sheep greet us in the morning. We saw rabbits and a hare also. The house is on an elevated site at the end of a cul de sac with stunning views. Host was very accessible and available but also let us get on with enjoying our stay.

This house was ideal for all of our requirements and location is ideal for exploring everything in this beautiful region.

Lovely peaceful area

Had a lovely stay at Maggie's house. The location views are stunning. A short 10 min drive takes you to Dooey beach which was fab, with lovely white sands. Dungloe is about 15 min drive away and has a Lidl and a few shops. We ate in McCafferty's restaurant in Dungloe one of the days and it was very good 👍 Where the house is situated is a lovely peaceful area and we even had a visit from a neighbouring lamb who wandered into the garden, much to the excitement of my 6 year old , who also spotted a hare and a rabbit nearby We brought our 2 small dogs who enjoyed the beach and going for walks down the road. The house was clean and had everything we needed for a lovely stay in a traditional style cottage. The beds were comfy and kitchen well supplied with good quality pans and utensils etc . The cows on the beach also made me smile 😁

Peaceful surroundings, breathtaking views and comfort that felt like home.

This property was a home away from home. The house was so well stocked with linen, towels and all the essentials. Overall it was a very pleasant stay. The views from the house are breathtaking. It is situated in a lovely quiet area, yet there were shops, restaurants and pubs at a close distance. The host made sure check in and out went smoothly and we had everything we needed. We hopefully will stay here again when visiting the locality.

Cosy, comfortable, clean and accommodating!

The house was absolutely spotless when we arrived. It instantly felt like a home from home. Safe location, beautiful views and great hosts. We loved every moment. Fantastic communication with James, he couldn't have been more helpful or accommodating. Everything you could possibly need was provided in the house. Even few biscuits when we arrived. We would definitely stay again.

The Internet perhaps could have been better but since it's a rural area it's understandable.

Felt Like Home!

10 Stars we would come back here in an instant!!! Almost tried to take the owner Jimmy back home to The States with us, he's that great! He's family now! This place is absolutely cozy with every amenity you could find. Extra kitchen items you may need, extra blankets for cozy. Perfect location, perfect view! Tons of pots and pans and even games to play! I think it's safe to say we will be back! 😉

The house was perfect for our stay, a traditional house with stunning views over the estuary. The house was cosy and warm on arrival and had everything we needed for our stay. James is a great host and communication was easy with him. The surrounding area had so much to offer, and the local Dooey beach was perfect for long afternoon walks.

Hidden gem for family holiday

James is a great host, there was absolutely everything in the house one would need to the great detail like board games and sweets for kids. Gorgeous views from the house. Lovely quiet area. Nice pubs nearby for both food and drinks. House very comfortable and cosy. Nearest beach 10 mins drive but one of the most beautiful ones in Ireland and with surfing school.
