Casa El Retiro

Wat een parel is dit! De ruimte in het huis, het zwembad, de tuin en de bbq + houtoven niet te vergeten vonden we geweldig. Ook met de (keuken)inventaris waren wij blij. Alles was ruim voldoende aanwezig. Fijne bedjes bij het zwembad en gezellige zitjes in de tuin. Daarnaast zijn het geweldige hosts! Super behulpzaam en sympathiek. Patrick reageert erg snel en vriendelijk. De omgeving is lekker rustig met mooi uitzicht en je bent in minder dan 10 minuten rijden met de auto/taxi in het centrum van Nerja of op een strandje. Wij komen hier zeker graag terug!

The location was brilliant, and we have stayed in several local villas. This one stood out. Close to the beach, the supermarket and town, but with enough distance for it to be really quiet, apart from the occasional cluck from the chickens next door. The host Patrick is beyond helpful, the pool is lovely and the view is stunning. Great holiday base.

The oven is a bit slow and the shower occasionally changes temperature midway, but otherwise perfectly fine.

the view across the bay was amazing. it was quiet and the pool was a great size. the family were prompt to respond to any questions and Miguel (owner) brought us fresh eggs and Avocados from his orchard.

too far to walk into town and the beach. needed car journeys. This meant our teenagers were not able to get about independently. villa was a little tired but clean.

It's a quiet villa, with beautiful views of the mountains and sea, surrounded by farm land growing avocados, lemons etc. Great facilities - washing machine, dish washer, BBQ, outdoor shower, private pool, aircon, good amount of kitchen equipment to cook your own food. Great location too, about 20/30min walk into the town. Far enough away from the town for it to be quiet but walkable to the beach and shops. The communication from the host has been amazing and super friendly. He messaged us a few days before arriving to confirm the location and if we had any questions. We had awkward flight times but he went out of his way to help us feel welcome. Quick to respond if we had any questions. We've had an amazing week here, it's so much better than we thought.
