Stonebank Cottage - Uk35686

Spacious, homely, and warm. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped. The dart board and hot tub were a hit with the kids. Good park space in front of the property for a ball game with a play area for the kids. The garden area looked nice at the back of the property, but as we stayed in January, we didn't use it. Lovely welcome gift, thank you 😊

We still enjoyed our stay, however there were some things we found a little disappointing. No proper instructions in the hot tub area for the hot tub. We couldn't work out how to heat the hot tub up until late in our stay. We realised the fuse was off. Maybe have full instructions in there. The hot tub area and decor a little uninviting. The stairs are very steep and very shallow in depth. We had to go downstairs with feet sideways. A little worrying with 2 children and a 70 year old with a bad back. Obviously this can not be changed but could prove a problem for some visitors. No proper shower, only a handheld fed from the bath taps with no shower screen so we could not have showers. Bedrooms were lacking a bit of character/decoration/artwork.

Very clean and tidy cottage in a good location with all the amenities you need, very nice hot tub which was great to relax at the end of the day
